Wrestling is way more fun with Brands at Iowa and I wanted to see Bassett in an Iowa singlet against PSU. I thought it would have been super fun.

Guy came in 3rd at NCAAs for Kent State, transferred to PSU, hurt his shoulder and I don’t think he even finished the year? Also not sure what this has to do with Mo Endene and Iowa?? Boy we love the gossip!! Not sure we’ll ever get the truth BUT the rumors list grows and grows: NIL dispute/Iowa wrestlers in general not getting paid what they’re owed - I can smell the rent of midwestern single mothers and cancer victims going up as I type! Workload - being a new dad, classes, wrestling all too much, wrestling lost. Medical - hurt his neck, Drs said no, Brands said toughen up, Mo said fu, gonna apply for a medical and wrestle somewhere else D1 next year. Brands is crazy - kind of a sub plot of a few of the others. What else we got?? Someone compile a comprehensive list to we can sip tea and gossip about it!! There’s nothing else exciting this week outside of Mo and Ford Focus.

There's a reason he's gone. The NIL money piece seems to be the central theme. Did Mo go back and say "Hey, I've proved myself and ranked #4...pay me more or I'll leave"? Did Iowa promise something with NIL that they didn't deliver and Mo didn't read the fine print? Did the checkbook run out? Brands seemed PO'd when he announced it, so might've been the first one. Either way, best of luck to Mo in whatever he does next. And congrats on becoming a father!

Will Iowa be able to keep the Bachmans, Kennys, and Borge in the fold for recruiting? While I think these things are no related in anyway. You must agree it is not a good look and there always seems to be some drama that is amplified because it is Iowa.

He refused and said he doens't take meds like IB profin or tylenol or anything like that. T and T and the money guy behind their NIL's said they don't want to pay him if he isn't going to wrestle and demanded a one on one meeting, the day he had his baby. When he obviously did not show for said meeting he was removed from the team. This is from an extremely reliable source but you're getting it second hand, so take it with a grain of salt. If Bo Bassett doesn't ever do anymore than AA two times I will delete my whole ass account.....WrestlingRash sucks

He is a former Hawkeye having wrestled for Brains for a season before transferring to Wartburg where he won a national title. He was an assistant coach at Wartburg when Endene won a title there.
