I don't completely understand the situation but it reads like either an administrative blunder or a flex to try and rig the competition. The context of competing in an international tournament plus requiring documentation of their re-entry to India should have nullified any concerns of overstay. The video cites an automated risk profile, so maybe AI derailed the thing and no human was willing to exercise their contextual knowledge to override a glorified computer program. The same thing could easily happen with American wrestlers heading overseas.

Heck yeah dude took it! I actually quite enjoy Greco. Enjoyed it during the last Olympics and am enjoying it now. The athleticism is nuts and somehow the par terre makes more sense than in fs. Who knew?

I got whooped a LOT but still loved it. I didn't know I loved it at the time, but the life lessons I learned (both mental and physical) were amazing and I carry that stuff with me all the time. As for PSU, I bet they'd love wrestling even more if they took a few losses. I mean this genuinely. The struggle to get to the top lights a fire that's infinitely more satisfying than maintaining your position at the top. It's a tale as old as time in and outside of athletics.

Mostly guys that are super defensive and would lose if stalling was called more. Ferrari, Blaze, Cam Amine, Lockett come to mind immediately

I am just now learning that WNO isn't the top two guys at a weight class, but rather two top guys at different weights. No wonder attendance is poor! If it establishes no ranking, gives no bragging rights, and doesn't resemble actual competition why would anyone take it seriously as a viewer or as an athlete? Is it cool to see Troy Spratley wrestle SVN, sure I guess, but it's not a serious match if there is nothing at stake. Just my thoughts.
