HAHAHAHA

I am all for it if nothing else than to watch everyone squirm.  HAHAHAHA

Hamiti looks like he could be kin with John Smith so it should be a good fit once he learns the dialect.

Hamiti's going to be a problem next year, what with actually having coaches and all...

OK State should be a great fit for his style. I could see him making a leap in performance. He will also have some good training partners in Thompson and Plott.

Man, what a fall.  Hamiti used to live in Madison.  Then we thought he was going to be in Ann Arbor and fat and happy at 174.  Now he's living in Stillwater and he's Daton Fix's replacement at 133.

Say goodbye to that mop of hair!!

AND they will somehow squeeze three more years of eligibility out of him.......

I thought Olejnik made a big jump this year in terms of his offense despite his finish not really showing that. Could definitely see the same for Dean.

I am not sure what you mean by this, I mean he had 3 years with Bono and you can see how much he has improved over the years

Curious if Lujan also enters.  They are best friends.

He is a contender and a Cali boy.  Makes me wonder if ASU or OSUW is in the mix.  I also wonder if it has to do with weight.  Fish is there and at 165lbs and maybe he wants to go 165lbs?

Fish in the portal too apparently

So the Michigan State gents...

Chase Saldate:

Saldate going out west almost seems inevitable, right?  Who needs a 157/165lber for a season that offers a great situation (not money, necessarily, but degree that might help in his current path down the lines of Media and Information.

If it is purely for wrestling I think OSUW and ASU make the most sense (if he is going 165 or Teemer is going 165).  He might have a tough time making the lineup at ASU, though, tbh.

Cal Baptist has a need at 157 (not really 165, unless their 0.500 Frosh goes to 157 or 174).  I don't see him there.
Utah Valley has a need at every weight he could possibly go from 149-174.
Cal Poly has their lineup set from 149-174, but if young Lamer were to go 184 things could get interesting for him.
MACtion?  Aside for Ohio, he could go to any MAC school and he would start, either at 157 or 165.

Caleb Fish:

This one is a bit perplexing as he was always Green and White growing up.  It is the one that makes me think that it is more to do with school/funding than actually wanting to leave.

Unless some B12 or lower B1G school is desparate (no disrespect intended), I think we see him at a MAC or SOCON school as their 165lber next year.  I think he'll pull a season similar to Lock Haven's Henson and rock off 35ish wins en route to a low AA finish.

Disclaimer:

I know actually nothing.  This isn't even conjecture at this point, just discussion.

A couple of interesting entries in to the portal that could thrive in the right environment.

Iowa's Bretli Reyna at 149lbs (People's Champion)
Utah Valley's Evan Bockmon at 197lbs (19W - 9L on the season, NQ)

When guys transfer at this point in the year where do they train the rest of the semester?

There is still 1-2 months before finals.

It is a digital age.  Some might be able to finish everything digitally.

It also likely depends on the situation.  I believe Saldate leaving has nothing to do with ill-will.  He likely will be allowed to train with the team, and he should be allowed.  He put four solid years in.

Oh, wow.  I didn't even notice him.

He could slot in as a 184lber as well, I think.
