I’m okay with being “that guy”. I had a lot of friends in college and high school that were big stoners. Let’s just say that smoking weed was not the only crime a lot of these guys were committing. They had a general lack of ambition for bettering themselves or society. Look at is like jaywalking - if a cop wants to screw with you the law is still there on the books. Nail someone with these small things to pressure them - or any other reason. A few years ago in Utah a Mayor had assistants nailed for jaywalking when a dispute with the Police Dept was going on.
