WrestlingPhD Posted March 19 Posted March 19 This is the rumor at the moment. The timing makes sense as Yianni might have had a career ending injury recently and Iowa seems like they need at least some change in their coaching staff. Any truth to Yianni coaching at Iowa?

I'm assuming he can still be on the mat but not compete at the level necessary to compete for World and Olympic titles.

If this were happening, could be a long game move on Yianni's part. TnT's tenure will be over sooner or later, and it is probably much closer to the sooner end of that spectrum. Yianni with a few years mixed in with the Iowa faithful could make himself a no brainer to fill the job. Just speculating.... 3
