I think it's valid to say that USA wrestling is the healthiest country right now in terms of potential future success. We're loaded with young talent. We should be excited and cross our fingers real tight. We're possibly at the dawn of a golden age.5 points

I can't get past all your Nazi analogies. You sure are an expert on Nazi behaviors, all while being anti Semitic and assigning their traits and qualities to everyone who disagrees with you.2 points

I really hope Flynn can put it all together this year. He's got so much potential, and many of his losses seemed to be mental lapses at the end of rounds/matches. Definitely rooting for him.2 points

I have no real gripes with any of your assessment. I fully expect Mesenbrink & Levi Haines to win. I think LL and Barr are clear favorites. 125 is deep (Robinson, Sprately, Volk, Ventresca, Seymour, etc) but LL looked so good this summer. 197 lacks depth and one of Barr's toughest competitors will be his teammate, Mirasola. Unless someone talks a big leap forward, it is hard to see anyone beating Barr. Right now I would favor Henson over SVN but it's a coin flip. 157 is gonna be a dog fight for PJ to make the starting lineup and then he will battle the likes of Antrell Taylor, Meyer Shapiro, Daniel Cardenas, etc. Would I be surprised to see PJ win that weight class? Nope. He's that good but folkstyle is a different ballgame than freestyle and there is a learning curve to mat wrestling, especially considering that he will be focused on freestyle leading up to the world championships. Same thing for Blaze at 133 as it is for PJ at 157, expect that 133 is even deeper → Crookham, Byrd, Ayala, Davino, Fuggitt, Figueroa, Frost, Ragusin, Shawver, etc..2 points

It’s known that Hamas took money intended for food and water from its own people. The terrorist government stole from their own people to build tunnels, buy weapons and pay themselves handsomely. Wokesters need to stop supporting terrorists2 points

I understand completely. Don’t start a war you can’t win. And. Work with me here. Release the darn hostages. give me one reason they should not release the hostages. Give me one reason the international community wouldn’t be more supportive of them if they did so. don’t poke the bear if you don’t wanna get bit boss.2 points

As season quickly approaches I’d love to hear everyone’s Top 3 dark horses at every weight, someone ranked currently outside the top 7. I’ll start. I know some of these are obvious. 125: Provo, Rivera, Renteria 133: Blaze or Ono, Davino, Ragusin 141: Blaze or Ono, Jack, Valencia 149: Echemendia, sorta lost on this weight 157: Larkin, Swensen, Arrington 165: Brignola, Sparks, Ruiz 174: Facundo, Mantanona, 184: Sinclair, Dean 197: Merrill 285: Mriasola, Catka,1 point

Without a doubt, you are one committed poster. If I were more well versed in WW or GR, I might try to hang here. But this week, the relationship I have with my bed has been seriously strained. I'm off to repair that relationship right now. Cheers.1 point

I worked 70-90 most weeks for years. Wasn't physical but it's still tiresome. I can barely work 40 anymore. It's unsustainable and gains you nothing. Everything in your life gets neglected and you can't do anything for yourself. I can squeeze out a 50 hrs week but I try to keep that to a minimum.1 point

Comer said Barr told investigators that he "didn't know anything about a client list," and did not have conversations with Trump about such a list. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bill-barr-testifies-he-didnt-see-info-would-implicate-trump-epstein-case-comer-says1 point

Not only that, he said he knew nothing about a client list at all. Saying he didn’t see anything implicating Trump means nothing, since he apparently didn’t see much of anything.1 point

Tenn kid that didn’t have the greatest competition in high school. Yep he had some losses against some pretty avg wrestlers. That being said you could see him learning, improving and gaining confidence as the year went on. He went 17-9 after Jan 1 including the Big 12 and National Tournaments against pretty good competition. To me your second year as a regular is where you take the biggest jump forward and I’m hoping/expecting to see him do that.1 point

I think Hilary Clinton let her law license lapse years ago because she didn't intend to resume practice. I vaguely remember Trump or somebody lying about it saying she got suspended by the bar association, but she just stopped practicing because she was SOS and didn't have a reason to keep herself up to date.1 point

They should start a meme coin and then provide political favors to people that buy it. Seriously though, this is probably garbage and a pr stunt. Just like the complaints about Obama. Zero evidence that he did anything illegal either. Gabbard claimed he did and released documents that supposedly proved it but in reality it was just garbage. The wingers are seriously out of control. Just constantly accuse all democrats of whatever they can come up with and hope the dumb people believe it.1 point

If he starts this season, there's some talent at 133/141 but we also have to watch where Forrest ends up weight wise. Both Blaze and Forrest almost have to bulk to 141/149 so they are not too undersized for 65 in '28. There really could be a case where one or both are World Champs and one is an Olympic Champ while still in college and one never wins an NCAA title.1 point

Non-responsive? You literally started by quoting my post that was extremely responsive. I honestly cannot take you seriously. But I’ll humor you and your little games for about two minutes. As it relates to the Epstein case, I can no longer believe anything that comes out of Washington. As it relates to Barr, he never claimed to have all of the documents referring to the Epstein files sitting on his desk waiting for his review. More specifically, he was not AG when Epstein was first indicted, and he was AG for very short period of time during his second indictment as well as Maxwell’s, and he didn’t make claims to get everything out to the public. So, not only do you have the very real likelihood that he didn’t have all of the documents, that were sitting on Bondi’s desk waiting for her review of which she informed the president he was in there a lot and had numerous officials scour said documents to earmark each of those instances, he still fits in the description I noted above, being that as it relates to this case I can no longer believe anything coming out of Washington. Responsive enough? Now, I’m not going to ask you to respond to my question, no bother, you’re one big joke in my view. It’s okay.1 point

Its just boring. They tried a lot of rule sets for Greco. Actually I am in a way impressed by FILA/UWW, they managed to keep GR in the Olympics somehow. It is the only olympic sport women can't participate in. How did they pull it off? Im sure it's not because of the immense audience it draws. We were never going to have 24 or 30 weight classes or whatever ( 8/8/8 10/10/10 or even 7/7/7) no matter now competent or incompetent UWW may or may not be. The days of 10 weights per style or even 8 were when womens was not included. We already have the most weight classes of any sport. Im no fan super fan of UWW and they can barely even film a wrestling match properly in some of their recent tournaments ( some of the camera angles at 2023 worlds and this years junior asians were shocking) but out of all the sports in the Olympics that have weight classes, wrestling has the most with 18. If we could go 9 and 9 with FS and WFS I would take it. Unfortunately my real assumption is eventually it will all be replaced with beach wrestling, which I am not a fan of.1 point

Lol talk about mental gymnastics. The DOJ meeting with Maxwell is like piece of evidence 100 of why Trump is likely guilty. "Mental Gymnastics" from the guy who is feigning skepticism about Trump's connections to a guy he was good friends with for decades, has tons of pictures with, is on record calling him a good friend and alluding to the crimes, etc...and is now actively preventing the release of the case files. Pathetic! Do you have any dignity?1 point

Only 3 wrestlers have won more than a single title at 149 this millennium. Metcalf did it 2 times in his three years of eligibility. Retherford did it 3 times, and Yianni did it twice. Don't forget this little nugget about the 2008 weight class that Brent won..1 point
