no its because he's a narcissistic dork and no one likes him. People don't feel the same way about Nolf, Retherford and others.5 points

its because he's an arrogant, overhyped and overrated fighter. Nothing to do with where he went to college5 points

He has no charisma or comedic edge. Also not nearly as smart as he thinks he is.3 points

I haven't seen or heard a word from Aaron Pico since he started fighting in Bellator. On the other hand, I can't get away from seeing Bo Nickal content. I am not going to root for an arrogant prick just because he comes from the same sport I like. He's a clown and maybe he'll be more tolerable now that he can't pretend like he'd beat anyone in the world if given the chance. The UFC has coddled him and selected opponents to help him build his reputation and anticipation of his future match-ups, and he got booed in his last fight for being so boring, and then just got embarrassed in this fight.3 points

It’s cause he’s an arrogant dik …. You don’t see people calling out Zain or nolf or what not. I bet he needs a lot of 27:17 for that wounded stomach… does it help your pride? He does say it literally helps with anything in his vids https://www.instagram.com/reel/DF-d2UFRy_6/?igsh=c3d1a3hsM3V4OWg2 https://www.instagram.com/reel/CvdUrs_PT90/?igsh=NnM2bXoxcHc0anpi3 points

I think as long as he's following the rules and isn't protesting anything, he is probably going to be ok? I know we're trying to steer away from politics but I just have to point out the absolute absurdity of this comment- "following the rules and isn't protecting..." is an unbelievable thing to say from someone that I assume is proud to be an American and would seemingly be a person in a crowd chanting "U-S-A, U-S-A! The right to free speech and ability to protest is one of the most quintessential American things to do. The fact this comment was so casually stated is frighteningly disappointing and disturbing. The unconscious brainwashing has really taken its toll to the point someone would claim protesting is not following the rules when it is a citizens constitutional right to do so.3 points

Y’all are splitting words and you know it. The tds is strong. This is a nothing burger. like I said weeks ago. Y’all will drag out deportations as long as you can…. For whatever reason you can. Because you want the votes. Nothing more. Nothing less.2 points

is it true that the difference between Democrats and Republicans is that Republicans are built for the trade-off of short-term pain for long-term results and the Democrats want that short term dopamine hit?2 points

Yes, thousands of lawyers over the years have debated over the interpretation of the Constitution. The Supreme Court has spent a lot of time on the interpretation of the Constitution over the last 200 plus years. You can uphold the Constitution to the best of your ability, but you will probably be challenged on your interpretation.1 point

Tell me when Biden publicly admitted he didn't know he was supposed to uphold the constitution.1 point

And Biden has what to do with Trump not knowing one of the core functions of his office?1 point

I want someone to ask him if Bo Nickal was rooting for Burroughs at Worlds last year..1 point

As stated earlier. He hasn’t had a thought of his own outside a teleprompter in a long time. He didn’t say things. He sort of read things. Sort of. Then went to sit on the beach.1 point

So yeah, weird post by CP. The 2 or 3 years Dreshaun and Mocco give up to Mirasola is much more impressive than 7 or 13 lbs imo.1 point

To be fair, the question was very specific to upholding the Constitution. As you may or may not know, there is a very specific line in the Oath of Office when a President is sworn in, regarding upholding….something. Can you guess what that something is??? Hint: it says noting of lawyers or the Supreme Court.1 point

Can someone who follows Mineo tell me if he criticized Bo for cornering a Japanese guy and celebrating when the Japanese guy beat American wrestler Spencer Lee?1 point

Weigh-ins for the top six U20 125kg guys (in lbs) at the US Open: 219 — Cole Mirasola 226 — Dreshaun Ross 232 — Michael Mocco 246 — Koy Hopke 265 — Rocco Dellagatta 265 — Coby Merrill So yeah, Cole gave up only 7 lbs to Ross and 13 to Mocco.1 point

AI doesn’t even mention psu when debating this question. Verdict: Bo Nickal is generally seen as more arrogant. Aaron Pico’s tone has become more humble over time, while Nickal leans into brash, aarogant statements. Aaron Pico Background: Former freestyle wrestling prodigy and Junior Golden Gloves boxing champ. Signed with Bellator at just 18. Public Persona: While confident, Pico has shown humility—especially after early losses in MMA (notably a shocking KO in his debut). Typical Demeanor: Focused, professional, and increasingly measured in interviews. His losses seemed to mature his public image. Perceived Arrogance: Moderate. Early hype made some fans label him as overconfident, but he's generally seen as grounded now. Bo Nickal Background: 3x NCAA wrestling champion, undefeated in MMA so far (as of 2025). Public Persona: Charismatic, cocky, and unapologetically dominant. Makes bold claims (e.g., beating a chimpanzee, dismantling UFC middleweights, calling Khamzat Chimaev’s wrestling “trash”). Typical Demeanor: Smack-talker with a comedic edge. Embraces the role of confident rising star. Perceived Arrogance: Very High. Many fans and media view Nickal as arrogant.1 point

You missed THE most important part about the three styles. Your ability to cut weight really really hard right before a ‘fight’ and then rehydrate and bounce back a few hours before the fight. Just ask Yianni D and his Olympic Trials experience. He couldn’t do this part well and it is a really really big deal. Very practical in real life fights too. A key aspect of martial art skills.1 point

125: Spencer Moore (R16) 133: Lucas Byrd (Champ, 3X AA, 4X NQ) 141: Danny Pucino (R16, 2X NQ) 149: Michael Gioffre 157: Kannon Webster (R12) 165: Braeden Scoles (R12) 174: Chris Kelly (RFR) 184: Ruth (AA, 3x NQ) 197: Chris Moore (True freshman NQ @ 165) 285: Luke Luffman (R12, 3X NQ) ----- Connell is just as likely to not even qualify as he is to qualify. There is no way Ruth isn't qualifying. I don't think Connell is in the lineup next year unless he can get to 174. Moore wrestled 86KG at the open instead of 79. That tells me 174 is a bit too far away. He won't be Ruth out. 197 is the spot, especially with no one else there. Though it sounds like Lautt might be on his way there soon, but Moore would beat him, even if under-sized.1 point

McHenry graduated from Michigan with a major in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience and earned a Business Management Foundation Certificate from Penn State. Wherever he goes next will probably be more academically influenced than wrestling influenced. His original list of schools is below when he was a prospect. I'd throw UVA in the mix as well with a great academic reputation and a place close to home. I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to a great school that doesn't have D1 wrestling either.1 point
