There are only two of us on this forum that if a person said back in October "Illinois is going to have 1 Big Ten champion, 2 finalists, and at least 8 qualifiers" that we would have nodded our head and said "Poeta 1, Jombo zero. See ya in March." This one was for him.5 points

Strickenberger is going to be a tough out. Weird he just got majored by Figueroa - I think the best chance against him is right off the scale with the enormous cut he must have3 points

Byrd has such a Gable-era Iowa vibe. His semifinal match was fun, too. Wrestles with a big chip on his shoulder.3 points

Honestly Hamiti looked like the better guy throughout most of it but KOT just finds a way man. Only KOT doesn't give up those scramble points or that escape at the end. Great match by both guys, I think KOT had the mental edge to tie it and win it late.2 points

McEnelly’s really good, I’d definitely take him over Ferrari right now. They’d all be close matches for sure. He’s a RS Fr.?2 points

Yeah, I miss the pre-NIL days when our beloved sport was steroid free, and guys just got strong growing up on farms milking cows.2 points

These are horsecrap. Caliendo was in there and fighting, taking attacks. Mesenbrink is just a monster.2 points

No I don't think he is taking steroids and I think you and @pokemonster are losers for making accusations without any founded evidence2 points

That's a common, but not universal symptom. Pizza face and excessive flushing are 2 others and Kasak has that in spades. In addition, you don't think it's a little suspicious that he went from a 141lber to a hulking 57 in one year? Yeah, he might have supreme genetics but color me skeptical. To be fair, I'm a cynic and assume that PEDs are widespread in high level athletics. For example, I'm suspicious of Cass' multiple body transformations and am a little dubious about Spencer Lee's upper body mass gain between March 2023 and Oly trials 2024 (but really, really hope it's all natural)2 points

The wrestler who asked for the review should have to do burpees during the review.. If its an official review then both wrestlers should have to do them.2 points

@Wrestleknownothing any chance you can compile the data and do a ranking of Worse to Worst for Jimmy Cinnabon threads? Just for the 24-25 Season. Not trying to bury you with a project that could take decades2 points

On the PSU board there is some speculation that he’ll eventually be a 133. He was dwarfed by Ramos; unless he starts hitting the weights hard and regularly or gets significantly taller, I don’t see that happening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

Well I would say Younger Bastida should be the favorite. Ghadiali also comes back next year. Feldman will also be in the mix. Heavyweight does significantly clear out though.2 points

If they don't want guys to ride for riding sake, they shouldn't incentivize it by awarding a point, or making it a way to win in overtime2 points

So today removed: Ramos, Alirez, Bartlett, and Miller. Also Figueroa's only previous loss was INJ Sunday's matchups of undefeateds: Hamiti - O'Toole Starocci - McEnelly Steveson - Kerkvliet2 points

Jimmy you know better than this. PSU clearly wrestled with half effort at best so they'll be well-rested after the Daylight Savings time change tonight. 4-D chess move by Cael.2 points

Man, the shots being taken at a RS freshman for not being a dominant force is crazy. He is a freshman and lost a match to a very tough Jaxon Smith. Relax.1 point
