Iowa/PSU week is upon us. #1 vs #2 Anything can happen. Throw out the record books when these two meet. But before you throw it out here are a few tidbits from it: Iowa leads the all-time series 28-13-2, though PSU is on a three dual winning streak. Largest Iowa Margin of Victory = 33 (1990 @ Iowa City 36-3) Largest PSU Margin of Victory = 23 (2024 @ Iowa City 29-6) I took a look back and was surprised to see this is year four of aggregating predictions on the Iowa/PSU dual duel. As in years past, post your match by match predictions here. I will aggregate the results along with predictions I find on HVI and HR to come up with a "wisdom of the crowds" prediction as well as a closest to the pin prediction. Iowa/PSU Prediction Hall of Fame: 2022 - @flyingcement while only getting 8 of 10 matches correct (9 was the highest @Plasmodium, and PSUNatChamps) cement defied gravity and all others in nailing the final score PSU 19 - Iowa 13 2023 - @Barracuda141 & @PortaJohn both failed to live up to concrete's level of perfection, but did come within 2 points of nailing the final score. Meanwhile @Mr. PeanutButter and @Holtfan went a perfect 10 for 10 picking individual match winners. 2024 - For 2024 I got a little carried away with scoring, but lets just focus on team score and correct matches for now. Come on down @MLB9 & @Dogbone and accept your nomination to the HOF for closest to the pin final score within 1 point. Getting 9 of 10 was so easy that even your author achieved it (without any actual knowledge of wrestling) along with @Interviewed_at_Weehawken, @CHROMEBIRD, @Truzzcat, and @Perry Prediction Tie Breaker: What weight does Gabe "Head Hunter" Arnold wrestle? 174? 184? No weight at all?3 points

Maybe Cannon should heal up so he's good for the postseason. He has not been looking great.2 points

Luffman in on single but they go OOB. Luffman in on another single but Slav counters and now in on his own shot and Luffman trying to counter. Slav finishes it for the win and the team victory. Good dual2 points

Conference dual season is in full swing. It's crazy to think that there's only about a month left in the regular season. In January, we've settled into a regular schedule, primarily focused on dual competition. A total of 60 duals will be contested. Since it can be difficult to figure out where and when to watch all of these events, InterMat has put together a list of all of the live-streamed events occurring this week. Below are the dates/times and how to watch each match (with links). To make this guide even easier to find, we've added a link on our homepage and the latest Live Streaming Guide will appear right under the header articles. Musk's comments resonate with me. When I toured Budapest with an acquaintance from Vienna, we discussed how our education systems handle historical accountability, especially after visiting the "Shoes on the Danube Bank" memorial. He is a fourth generation with collective guilt. Keep the remembrance as a learning tool, but also, move on!1 point

I got the Nittany Lions feasting on the Hawkeyes 26-6. 125 Lilledahl dec Cruz 3-0 133 Ayala dec Davis 3-3 141 Bartlett MD Rhodes 7-3 149 Van Ness dec Parco 10-3 157 Kasak dec Teemer 13-3 165 Messybrink md Caliendo 17-3 174 Haines dec Kennedy 20-3 184 Starocci dec Arnold 23-3 197 Buchanon dec Barr 23-6 HWT Kerk dec Kueter 26-6 Presuming those will be the lineups. Caliendo is wrestling great this year, but MM is next level. Best match will probably be Buchanon/Barr. I think Buchanon's experience will prevail, plus he's been wrestling great. Barr has been wrestling great as well, but he's still a tad unseasoned. This match will tell. I'm not 100% on Haines beating Kennedy.1 point

It is a little cringey but is still leagues better than: Threatening public exposure at a graveyard Threatening to physically assault an opposing team's coach Mouthing off to Dieringer after losing to him Misspelling Marstellar's name and insulting him on Twitter, again after losing Sorta kinda insinuating retirement after defaulting out of the Big Ten tournament and leaving your teammates behind Posting a picture of a dildo to social media. Yeah, I get it, it's not the smoothest callout but are we really so uptight as a community that we need to complain about every single tiny thing? This kinda stuff isn't my jam but I can appreciate it's potential effect on raising the stakes for a match that most likely will be rather one sided1 point
