Ghadiali was better on his feet, on top, and on bottom. He was better shooting and defending. But it was close otherwise.3 points

Bo Nickal just about got booed out of MSG despite winning his fight with Paul Craig... The overrated chants were abundant. Fans don't seem to like him.2 points

Good for them going. but It’s a small shame that people get an emoji going two nights in a row….. used to be so so common.1 point

Indeed it is. No Jombo and no "blogging." Enjoy the wrestling. Safe travels...1 point

Few notes. The whole 5th season really is stupid and complicated metrics like this. In a sane world he doesn’t get to wrestle keck at all. freestyle should not count imo but I see how some think it will/does. With that said several are fit/mff which I assume even the psu faithful agree don’t count. I posted a vid of his clip in the other threat. It’s near the top around the ~14 min mark …. It’s a flo interview. If it were politics we would gripe why did the interviewer ask a follow up because clearly he is not accurate here.1 point

Lucas Byrd is now a two-time NWCA All-Star Classic Champion. That's very rare. Zac Braunagel and his opponent got a standing ovation from the crowd for their 19:17-long war. There were questions related to that first "takedown" that the refs said was out of bounds. But in the end, we were entertained!1 point

SVN was the OW tonight, IMO. I was not expecting…that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Says who? You're arbitrary ruling? He beat him the year he won an NCAA Championship. In other words, he beat an NCAA Champ.1 point

People used to say that PSU fans were channeling Iowa when Brooks would wrestle Hidlay. In their first NCAA final, Hidlay spent more than a minute of the first period partially or completely out of bounds. It was infuriating. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I hear they are having a tussle in Madison Square Garden. Gotta go check that out.1 point

LEHIGH's Taylor was so close in becoming an AA last March, Ghadiali snatched that away from him in the blood round! Taylor lost to Feldman in the Clarion Open this year. Nice "W" for Ghadiali! D31 point

$400B Slash to Defense budget, with $250B granted with detailed expense report, leaving $150B cut objective $200B: Reduce Fraud $150B: MAHA to increase health through diet and exercise, thus cutting medicare and medicaid expense $10B++: flipping social security to S&P500 and using access funds to pay down debt, reducing interest payments $20B: Fossil Fuel Subsidies $100B: Corporate Subsidies $80B: Cut department of education ~$120B+ potentially through cuts to Energy, Housing, Commerce, Interior ( I voted for Ron Paul before! ) Review additional subsidies... over a $1 trillion to review bringing back to the state level Some sort of hair cut across the board (with exception). Like 20% hair cut to achieve objectives. Something based on results to increase or decrease the allocations for the current and future years. Show me where the money went, show me what it accomplished, fully auditable... There is a reason this will take manpower to go through the risks and mitigations...1 point

Was randomly scrolling wrestlestat and came across Drexel’s Giuseppe Hoose, who had previously been at Hofstra, Buffalo, and Oklahoma before coming to Drexel for his 7th year (looks like he got a medical as a true freshman in 2019 and then was one of the lucky ones to take a redshirt in 2020). Any others?1 point

Put some RESPEK on Lance Palmer's name! But no, he beat Metcalf at Big Ten's then was runner up at NCAAs. 4 time AA.1 point

So I checked 2023 worlds, especially since they were an Olympic qualifier and would get the best turnout you can hope for. Romania does not have a 125 kg entrant. Hungary does not have a 79 kg entrant. Neither sent a full team. Federations are not as generous as the United States, which happily sends full Greco teams that get crushed tournament after tournament. They want results (which means someone who can win Olympics Bronze or better at that tournament). The cold hard truth is that the only thing most of these national sporting federations actually care about is making these numbers go up. Wrestling is just one means to an end for that. If wrestling were ever removed from the olympics, it would regress to something like what amateur sumo exists as. The amount of countries with culturally healthy and relevant wrestling cultures, you can count on one or two hands (maybe). And Freestyle is a terrible investment from a homegrown prospective. Greco is a much better bet for a country if you want to try wrestling, you don't have to deal with Greco versions of these Freestyle/Folk crazed regions pumping out athletes who have been training since 5.1 point
