What bubble do you live in that you don’t realize that laws have been made up to charge the most investigated man in history, Donald Trump. The latest story has a whistleblower claiming that James Comey began an off the books investigation before the Crossfire Hurricane that we know about. Even though the numbers you mentioned make it sound like things are improving, that’s only if compared to Biden’s earlier numbers. Inflation is still higher than at any time under Trump, prices are still going up, and the ones presented don’t include the prices of things most people spend most of their money on. The jobs numbers get skewed by the fact that many of them indicate that people are taking second and third jobs to get by, and the massive hiring by the government, which elevates the GDP. Manufacturing is down, productivity is down, economists are warning that the bond markets are indicating a looming recession. If you think tariffs are bad, how do you reconcile with the Biden/harris administration keeping virtually all the Trump tariffs and adding a few of their own? In short:3 points

No, it we're being honest, that was a partisan ***duck** up, but don't tell me the guy who was President for 7 years was warning about it. The ONE absolute though...across the board tariffs are a massive tax, they're not effective and tariffs have been the single worse policy in US History on balance. Smoot-Hawley being the main one. You don't get money from other Countries, your companies pay taxes. Biden showed how...much he declined during the debate. If MAGA wasn't a cult, they'd admit the same thing after that Rogan podcast. Even Rogan...who's not even been subtle about his biases, laughed at him. He's not fit for office for a plethora of reasons. Rome's burning. It's a small fire, but it's burning hot. We can either throw a little water on it, maybe suffocate it...or we can pour a bunch of jet fuel on it. Either way, we'll get what we deserve. If we want to be fair, the GOP was against the Bank "Bailout," which the US made it's money back on and then some, stopping a run on the banks, and Obama bailed out the Auto Industry which was... immeasurable in terms of economic impact. I'm not really trying to legislate every single aspect of the economy going all the way back or I'd point to Nixon freezing prices AND wages as a band aid to a gaping GSW when inflation and unemployment were inching toward 8%....then Ford upheld said policies and Carter was left with the inflation and poor economy and who was blamed for it? The guy sitting behind the big Oval Desk. That ONLY doesn't apply to one President...and it's the 44th man to serve as President of the United States and likely(possibly) the 46th if he wins next week. https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2011/12/who-is-really-responsible-for-the-housing-crisis/250482/ EITHER WAY, inflation in the last CPI was down to 2.4%, the GDP is growing between 3-4%, unemployment is low...and unlike '16 when Trump promised tax cuts, even Wall Street doesn't want him back in there(they already got their cut). But you could go on for hours about "facts," point out the man who claims the elections in 2016 and 2020 were riggged, the emmy's were rigged, the Nobel Peace Prize was rigged, point out more members of the armed forces died under his watch, pulled out of Syria giving the Russians a foothold in the area and abandoning the Kurds, the guy who calls himself a Christian yet when asked if he's ever asked for forgiveness has said, "No...I really don't think I have. I'm trying to think what would I have asked forgiveness for....I like to keep god out of all that," again, the capstone to Christianity and his supporters say, "fake news." So....alright. I did find it funny that he went on Rogan, in part to "prove," the election was "rigged," and when Rogan asked him, he said he had a "stack of papers," and they'd talk about it "some other time." Kamala isn't going to be Lincoln, but she's better than the guy we've been dealing with. And given the way he didn't leave office, how his Generals are talking about how he's "fascist to the core," I don't have faith he'll leave this next time. He said he deserves an "extra term" because his was "stolen" from him. So the argument isn't that the Democrats were perfect on the housing crisis, it's FAR deeper than that. But if they were sounding the alarm bells, why didn't they do ANYTHING when they controlled Congress? Or even try?3 points

In his interview he says he went out the way he wanted to. Now he can retire from competitive wrestling. What a great wrestling career. Now he can go on to have a great coaching career. Great job. best of luck in Oklahoma.2 points

As far as I can tell (thinking about it hours later), Vito dislocated his finger on the second TD going up 4-1. Normally he has two fingers taped, but this time he had three taped together. Really hurt. UWW med staff came out, Vito instructed them to remove the tape (to un-dislocate the finger), but the woman with the HUGE scissors apparently started cutting his finger by accident, because Vito freaked out and grabbed the scissors from her while attempting to take off the tape himself. Med staff was not happy (finger wag not happy). Vito yelled about them cutting him with the scissors. US med rep/coach came out, and they proceeded to pull off the tape. Camera panned out, Vito sat there while the coach...pulled his finger back into place. Immediate pain, but it sorta went away "quickly". Hastily wrapped the fingers again, Vito composed himself, and went out there and finished business. Tough dude.2 points

styles are so often mentioned and they generally dont seem to matter with the very best but talk about three guys wrestling with 3 very very different results. I truly think Ghasempour beats sadulaev more times if they wrestle 10 times I dont think Dt ever beats Sadulaev and Dt wins the vast majority against Ghasempour.2 points

I kind feel bad for the maga minion, and how they’ve been delusioned by this man to believe life is so terrible here. It really is sad to see good people living their life this way. I see a lot of similarities with the MAGA minions and the stages of addiction. There’s still some denial going on but it’s becoming less and less, and moving more into the stage of reasoning and justifying. I can’t wait to see how things go when the fever fully breaks.2 points

I think the most interesting wrinkle is if Blaze,Forrest,Bassett enter like they did last year. Blaze at 133 or 141 would be awesome I'd pick him to win 133 I think and at 141 dear god, Jesse is my pick but please let me see that match. Bo at 141 would be super interesting as well all three of those ranked guys hand fight hard so it would be nice to see him against guys that can match that.2 points

Not sure why it needs to be said, but Nolf > Burroughs at 74 KG =/= Nolf over Burroughs at 79 KG. Nolf has shown that he lacks the horse at 79 KG that JB does not lack.2 points

I also find it interesting, for all the people who are now "discredited," by being in pictures with Diddy, trump, like Epstein, referred to him as a "great friend and a great person," and said he "loved Diddy," and partied with him regularly in the 90s. Trump, he work visas for hundreds of young girls ~14-20 who came over to serve men at parties with the hopes of earning "modeling" contracts. Of all the creepy shit, talking about how you'd probably be having sex with your daughter when she's barely 20 if "ya know, I wasn't her Dad," is....up there. Even above the "you know what's funny...I'll be dating her in 10 years," to 10-year-old girls. I don't know how this election will go(I suspect Trump will win due to the dumbing down of this Country...which you can see in the return of the Flat Earth theory in which people actually believe Asgard is just outside the Ice Walls and you're not "allowed" to go to the North Pole as well as ALL the other conspiracies, but the one that's almost the most impressive is how Trump has been able to take the HIGH road by many cult members on protecting children/sex work. Makes you wonder why he'd need "Trump Escorts," trademarked or why he'd have been having SOOO many parties similar to Diddy and Epstien? Or shit, why did he try and give Acosta, the guy who went behind Federal Prosecutors and give Epstein a deal when they had enough on him to put him away for 20+ years EASILY and were TALKING about a plea deal in which he'd get 10 years, and have Acosta give him a deal with 1 year of home confinement and then in an unprecedented move, include blanket immunity for all known and UNKNOWN co-conspirators. For all the Epstien conspiracy theories about who shut him up, why give the guy who got him off(at least in one manner of speaking) a job in your administration? And then...you wish his pimp well in a multitude of ways on multiple occasions and you BUY THE JET Epstein used! I mean, the last one is not incriminating, but it's weird AT BEST. The most infamous private plane from the renowned child trafficker that you spoke highly of, you visited regularly...you'd think you'd stay away from THAT if nothing else! And finally...again, I don't think it proves any liability on Trump's behalf, but if you can contort yourself into buying into these theories that the Clintons' or some other shadowy figure was behind the Epstein "suicide," which...I actually think may have been a suicide, he was the most infamous predator in the world by then, but if you ARE going to blame said shadowy figure, why WOULDN'T it be his old buddy Trump? He was the man in power. How does NOTHING that happened when he was POTUS fall on his lap, but all the good things he inherited, that's all because of him? As one person said on this very forum when I pointed out Trump was right when he said he could shoot someone on 5th Ave and not lose a supporter and that person said, "If Trump shot someone, they were in need of shooting. By the way, is Gary Hart still alive? He has to be thinking, "what in hell? I was on track to be president and one affair ended me!?! This guy has had countless, including with porn stars and allegedly underage girls and he's got a whole cult! I was banging one blonde on a boat and it ended my career! I won't even get into the 40 of 44 Members of his Cabinet, as well as countless other Republicans who are now lined up behind him. Amazing....2 points

That is a very different argument than your original argument. But the point remains, if the old guard keeps beating the younguns, then the old guard earns the spot. These Monday morning quarterback arguments drive me crazy. Imagine holding a tournament and then NOT sending the winner to represent the US? It makes zero sense to me.2 points

All your points is valid. There is a background that you may not be aware of. Ever since Taylor dominated Yazdani, there has been a strong vocal group in Iran arguing that Ghassempour's style is a much better match for Taylor than Yazdani, and specially for the olympics with Yazdani's injury, there were more people arguing that Ghassempour should go instead of Yazdani. If Ghassempour beats Taylor, specially if he does so with a margin, the "should have" and "could have" arguments will never end in Iran2 points

You've said this a couple times, but I dunno. If Taylor beats Ghassempour, people will say it is because he was still reeling from his Sadulaev loss. People who want to make excuses will always find a way to do so. Of course it is true that Taylor's at the end of his career, and isn't at his prime. That's just a fact. It's also true he's giving up some weight to these guys. But after his match with Sadulaev, one thing you haven't heard anyone say is "But Taylor would've won if this were 5 years ago." That's because Sadulaev made it pretty clear there's a significant gap -- or at least that the stylistic matchup is very much in Sadulaev's favor. Same should apply here. If Ghassempour squeaks out a narrow win, people can fairly wonder how they'd fare in their primes. If it's a thumping, then its more meaningful. Besides, if Taylor makes it to Ghassempour, it will be clear that Taylor, even if not at his prime, is not *that* far off. He'll have to get past Abakarov, who lost only 3-1 to Sadulaev and was beating Taylor in 2021 worlds when he got pinned and came back for 3rd. Taylor already had to beat a returning World bronze medalist at 92kg just to make the team. No one thinks Taylor is a mere shadow of his former self. He's still a terror and a win over him would be a nice feather in Ghassempour's cap. On the other hand, if Old Man Taylor beats Ghassempour...1 point

I saw that mainly from the flo people. They are the same crew that said that Sadulaev's career would not be complete unless he beat Cox, that's how they these things out. It was just shallow hype and prisoner of the moment. He has half the medals of some wrestlers and was losing at team trials in his mid 20s. But because Pyles woke up one day and said so, that means Taylor had a better career than Saitiev.1 point

WA is all mail in vote. My wife and I voted yesterday. Will mail it in today. Mail in vote has its problems no doubt. But the fact you get to review the ballot for hours if you want to is nice. Being surprised by the contents of the ballot at the voting booth I never liked. That said, I do like voting in person and showing ID and I think that is the best way to handle voting. Even with that, we had some weird election results before mail in voting. We've had more since. There is always a way to find more ballots it seems. Before mail in, the governors race was won on the 3rd recount paid for by the democrat. Mysteriously, a bunch of ballots were found in the trunk of a car. The D won that last recount after the R had won the vote, and two recounts. mspart1 point

Agree. Russian election interference is looming behind every Hillary Clinton speech. Stacey Abrams is a Rig-amaniac. Minions are slobbering everywhere. If we had applied this logic to the 2020 election the outcome would have been very different. State AGs were making massive unauthorized and illegal changes to election procedures throughout the election season up to and after the actual election date. Also, it is never too late to correct a known mistake and illegal action - i.e. allowing someone to vote or receive a ballot (which can then be harvested by nefarious actors on either side).1 point
