This is the Democrats and Kamala at their finest. Her answers are just unbelievable. I'm shocked they have not installed a communicating earpiece or use a teleprompter to help her answer those softball questions. If she ever sits down with a real interviewer who will ask her real questions, I will be shocked. America is being duped and the low information democrat voters are buying it hook, line and sinker.2 points

Hassan Yazdani had his shoulders operated on. The operation took 7 hours, and they operated on three different parts of his shoulder. Some reports forecast that he will be out for 1-2 years. Personally, I fear that he may be finished. https://www.khabarvarzeshi.com/news/475455/توپ-فوتبال-روی-کتف-حسن-یزدانی-تصویر-عجیب-پادشاه-کشتی-بعد-از1 point

@Saylors_Tiny_Willie Did you check the charts bias? The first red flag is that the majority of respondents trust Kama more on crime than Donald Trump. That is outrageously unbelievable unless the respondent majority slant a certain left direction. The second red flag is that the chart (above) is sorted in descending order for trust in Kamala Harris. An unbiased sort would show trust in the order that the voters said was must important (below). My BS meter is spiking, and now I’m wondering: How many respondents? What are their political affiliations? What are their age and gender demographics? The survey had 2,028 respondents, all paid to participate. This included 712 (35%) Hispanic respondents and 528 (26%) Black respondents. For context, Hispanics make up about 19% of the U.S. population, and Black Americans make up about 12%. Links The Economy Tops Voters' Minds Survey Methodology This biased chart omits key information, and the media presents it as if "all of America" trusts Kamala on the economy.1 point

True, but you see the logic. They were trying to attract ... ugghhh, can't believe I'm going to use thus f-in' term ... "causuals." They wanted to make it clear that an actual sporting event was happening. But then, in the packaging, they leaned into a few too many fake pro wrestling tropes: fake teams, spandex and bare chests, light show, fog machines, canned applause (I think), etc. Any of these gimmicks on their own aren't so bad. (I actually really liked the idea of teams.) Together, kinda chintzy imo. That said, the matches were great. My favorite was Jantzen vs Larkin. I haven't found it online yet.1 point

He is the cream of the crop from M2. It was a joke, either way. I thought it was classless. A 17 year old can be corrected of that and I think he will be.1 point

Wasn't this on basic cable? It was before paid streaming services were common. Maybe even before DVR was common. I remember watching it "live."1 point

Trump's staff includes JD Vance's staff and their 6 degrees of separation network. Before the debate, JD Vance said the pets story came from his constituents and, true or not, it should be shared to highlight immigration issues. It works like an open conspiracy—shocking and memorable. Just like the false claim that Trump banned abortion, it spreads and sticks with people. More people are focused on immigration and cultural clashes, fearing it could happen in their area. It’s a clever plan, openly shared and still unfolding. There are 10+ left-leaning media spins for every 1 right-leaning spin on many major news networks. JD executed the plan flawlessly, and while I dislike spin tactics, this is brilliance. I am glad to see Trump's team fight back with the tactics that the Harris team does. Neither Trump nor Harris are known for their honesty. I align with about 80% of Trump’s policies and 40% of Harris’. I’ve lived through both the Trump and Biden/Harris presidencies. Have you seen the recent videos of government workers visiting citizens to discuss social media posts? Have you heard Harris, Walz, and Clinton talk about restricting free speech? ***duck** those people to the Nth degree.1 point

Sixth Sense. The first movie I wanted to rewatch immediately after seeing it to revel in how geniously the moviemakers had duped me. I liked it much more the second time through catching all of the hints I missed the first time.1 point

Pro Life? Voting for only pro-life candidates, then, aren't you? More children were killed in the last 14 minutes by their mothers and doctors ON PURPOSE than the IDF has ever killed by accident in chasing terrorists.1 point

I don't know if I can pick a favorite, but three obviously great ones to me are Godfather I, Godfather II, and Schindler's List. If I had to pick a single favorite movie though it would be Once Upon a Time in America. It is a movie you can listen to without watching and enjoy. And OP, I agree that Tenet is a great movie. That is a rare opinion, but I agree that it and Interstellar are Nolan's two best films.1 point

It is interesting that Trump is simply repeating what others in Springfield have been claiming for months. Listen to 1:39 from the March 12, 2024 City Commission Meeting.1 point

Even if one believes as you do that there were only white supremacists and neo-Nazis, its clear that Trump was not talking about neo-Nazis and white supremacists. You are being unusually dishonest about this. ---- TRUMP: Those people – all of those people, excuse me – I’ve condemned neo-Nazis. I’ve condemned many different groups, but not all of those people were neo-Nazis, believe me. Not all of those people were white supremacists by any stretch. TRUMP: Those people were also there, because they wanted to protest the taking down of a statue Robert E. Lee. So – excuse me – and you take a look at some of the groups and you see, and you’d know it if you were honest reporters, which in many cases you’re not. Many of those people were there to protest the taking down of the statue of Robert E. Lee. So this week, it’s Robert E. Lee, I noticed that Stonewall Jackson’s coming down. I wonder, is it George Washington next week? And is it Thomas Jefferson the week after. You know, you really do have to ask yourself, where does it stop?1 point

I was simply questioning the logic of how a bomb fixes the Hatian migrant issue? The threats were at city hall, schools, and hospitals. Is that where the Hatians congregate? Why those places? Why do overseas foreign actors(per ABC) care about calling in bomb threats to these places? Something isn't adding up is all I am saying.1 point

Maybe there are points there that apply generally, but Soccer is a sport that billions of people around the world like, and is the #1 sport for almost every country. In the U.S. it's not close to one of the top sports. I think you might even have better athletes playing lacrosse than soccer in the U.S. That's the main issue. The issue is wrestling is different. We only have to beat Russia, Iran, and Japan, and none of those countries consider wrestling to be their #1 sport (maybe Iran does, but they have next to no resources to support it). The problem is that most of the time here is spent training a different ruleset that doesn't penalize back exposure. If all we did is change the rules of folkstyle so that neutral back exposure results in 3 or 4 points from the feet and 2 from a grounded position, the U.S. would develop the best freestyle wrestlers in the world.1 point

There are only 4 schools who have any possibility of getting him on their team. Penn State. Best program in the country. Ohio State. 2 hours from his home. Great relationship with the staff and wrestlers. Also, they have an OTC. Iowa. Proven quality program. Lots of money for NIL via some call him the Slum Lord. Oklahoma State. Proven quality program. David Taylor. Lots of money for NIL. My bet he goes to Penn State. Best program in the country. My wish is Ohio State. Only 2 hours from his home. Mom can easily get to all of his matches. Maybe we can also get his brother from Purdue.1 point

Transcripts Show President Trump’s Directives to Pentagon Leadership to “Keep Jan. 6th Safe” Were Deliberately Ignored “Days before January 6, 2021, President Trump met with senior Pentagon leaders urging them to do their jobs to protect lives and property. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Mark Milley, recalls a conversation between the Acting Secretary of Defense Chris Miller, and President Trump: Milley: “The President just says, ‘Hey, look at this. There’s going to be a large amount of protestors here on the 6th, make sure that you have sufficient National Guard or Soldiers to make sure it’s a safe event.’… [POTUS said] I don’t care if you use Guard, or Soldiers, active duty Soldiers, do whatever you have to do. Just make sure it’s safe.' [SecDef] Miller responds by saying, 'Hey, we’ve got a plan, and we’ve got it covered.'” On January 5, the Secretary of the Army, Ryan McCarthy, placed unprecedented restrictions on DCNG Commander Major General William Walker to prevent any movement to the Capitol without Secretary McCarthy’s explicit permission on January 6 and 7. On January 6, 2021, the outer perimeter on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol was breached by rioters at 12:53pm. The DCNG arrived five hours later. Click here to view the timeline. These transcripts prove President Trump’s senior Pentagon leaders were focused on OPTICS, instead of doing their job, as the Capitol was breached: Miller: “There was absolutely – there is absolutely no way I was putting U.S. military forces at the Capitol, period.”” https://cha.house.gov/press-releases?ID=EA54DB89-3762-408A-8D4E-5CE7CA7953220 points
