Fauxbon 2- Adding two AA to your college roster is not exactly putting Iowa in the RTC top spot. NLWC is losing guys, but they will restock with the next group up. You cited 7 guys leaving NLWC and 4 of them went to the Cowboy RTC. So you have the Cowboy RTC gaining 4 important pieces and HWC adds two college guys, but HWC is soon to be the top RTC? LOL3 points

It’s not illegal. It’s definitely not democratic. You’ll see both parties move more away from what the people want if something does not stop this madness. The last 3/4/5 elections have been crazy. And every one Frazier than the last. I’m not fixing that typo. everyone thinks the other party is the devil. My team isn’t bad. If that doesn’t resolve itself the left will get far more left…. And the right will get far more right. the real issue is 83-98% of politicians are scum bags. In all parties. Power hungry crazies who will ruin things. we need term limits state local federal govt.2 points

Silvestri (The challenge lost guy) did emphasize the Lost syllable and not the others. But this version of French doesn't look flat!2 points

English has a natural undulation of stressed and unstressed syllables. When we (English speakers) want to be demonstrative we often stress several syllables in succession, I.e. spondees. French is generally a "flatter" language with each syllable receiving the same stress (there are exceptions that are marked with various notations). As a result, French speakers often describe the sound of native English as a roller-coaster. And English speakers often describe the English of native French speakers as rude. When we hear that "ShallengeLoast" guy putting the same stress on every syllable, we interpret it as overly forceful. . . but maybe he just has a poor feel for the rhythm of English. Or maybe the guy was on a power trip.2 points

What people maybe couldn’t see on tv was that during the sequence from 2:00-1:00 when Dake got taken down, the chairman was waving at the other officials to stop the match. He even went as far as to nearly throw a stuffed animal on the mat, meanwhile action continued and Dake got scored on. I think the challenge may have had something to do with this.2 points

It's absurd you keep pushing this idea that John Smith was known for hating his athletes. I've probably seen you say something like that a dozen times on here. It's a fairy tale with no basis in reality and I'm not sure why you keep saying it.2 points

I agree overall it was good but there were some head scratchers: Takatani pinned call Rivera not being pinned call (hate to admit it) All the cautions that allowed Zhamalov to win his first match2 points

For me.....46th NCAA Championship dating back to 1972 (Maryland).....this will be 40 in a row, dating back to 1985 (Oklahoma City)....before I retired, it was a vacation, today.....it's still a vacation....lol. Berny certainly had more popular votes and earned delegates than kamela has. Though primary election selection of presidential candidates is relatively new, only really coming into vogue after WWII, the only logic for what the dimocrats have done this year is either they know they can’t win and nobody else wants to be the loser, or they have the cheating so ensconced that the same folks will still be running things that are now. Remember: They didn’t fail to protect him, they failed to kill him.1 point

It was certainly louder, but my ear picks up something else. I hear either .. 1. "chal · lenge · LOST" -- two unstressed syllables followed by a stressed. Or 2. "CHAL · LENGE · LOST" -- three syllables with no difference in stresses. A native English speaker would say ... "CHAL · lenge · LOST" -- the standard heartbeat (iambic / trochaic) pattern. This undulation takes away the bite. Sorry ... I'm done. And thanks for the pic.1 point

I think you are on to something. A picture of Joe holding a don't sign and Kamala cackling and maybe they will turn back and run away.1 point

I thought the other thread was for Iran and Putin. Scouts honor asked what we can do to stop illegal immigration across the board. We need signs that say (Don't) with a picture of Joe and Kamala.1 point

RBY, Gilman, DT, Kennedy all trained or worked together before at NLWC so I'm wondering how things will be different? Gilman had a great career but RBY, despite wrestling more freestyle than Spencer Lee since entering college, had a suboptimal Olympics. This is exciting for Cowboy RTC but I'm just not sure how this changes anything for RBY. Is he going to become LESS defensive training with Fix?1 point

Ruotolo's decision to stand with Nolf was what made that match so exciting. The Ruotolo brothers have been phenomenal from very young ages, I think they were home schooled most of their loves so they could focus on training, and since their late teenage years have been among the best in the world, gi or no-gi. They both will scrap with anyone in any position and have well rounded stand up (decent wrestling and judo). Nolf wasn't shooting in like crazy because of the threat of the guillotine, it changes the takedown game. That match was a vision of the potential product here, Kerkvliet against Andrew is the opposite end of the spectrum.1 point

I’d agree it was well officiated, some of the scoring in Dakes semis I could’ve seen going a different way, but I also don’t think it impacted the final result. Also, what was Dake even challenging towards the end of the bronze match? “That’s the wrong sequence!” Me and my wrestling buds were watching together and couldnt figure out what to try and overturn. It was funny hearing Burroughs on the mic throwing a little flak basically calling him wrong live while it was happening. Glad he could turn it up at the end to win, wish he wrestled like that all 6 minutes. I say that as a complete Monday night couch quarterback.1 point

I love when OSU fans talk out their cheeks. You have no idea what you are talking about, I could write a book on stuff I know that has gone on at OSU in the past 5 years. Cover ups, lawyers to make it go away crap. Ferrari alone could be a chapter, and it all was brushed under the rug. You ought to set this one out talking about other schools. DT will for sure have his work cut out. I would bet 2-3 guys get caught or kicked off in the next year.1 point
