Well, Paul started a thread about Trump being shot, RL suggested it may have been a set up from the Trump team, a couple people seemed to think the shooter being dead squashes that idea, I personally believe it doesn’t squash that idea (while stating I don’t necessarily believe in that idea), offmatt needed a clarification and Trump had something to say about being shot at. Not trying to argue but that was less than 1/2". Grazed his ear. Another point is that the shooter (if he had any training) would have waited for Trump to turn to his right. The target (Trump in this case) turning towards the shooter created a larger target area. I'm guessing the shooter used an AR-15 chambered in 5.56/223 and used a 55 or 62 grain bullet. FPS would've been slightly higher than 2500 at 150 yards. Anyways, just some trivial stuff

The shooter only missed killing President Trump by about 1/2 an inch. or less. The bullet was traveling at 2500 feet per second. If Trump hadn't turned his head to look at the huge graph to his right, he would have been killed.

No, wtf are you talking about? A conversation started about the motives of would-be assassin, I was pointing out we don't have enough information at this point to make even a real educated guess as to his motives. There is nothing that is going to make this less heinous unless it comes out the whole thing was a set up that Trump was involved with, which I want to be clear, I do not believe even a little bit. I believe this was a legitimate attempt on Trump's life that he's very fortunate to have survived, and I'm glad he didn't die.
