If you ever get a chance, the 10th Mountain museum at Vail is pretty cool. The one at Ft. Drum is better, but, it’s at Drum, and that sucks. Plenty of other cool 10th Mountain stuff around. Breckenridge has a nice memorial, and at the top of Tennessee Pass there’s a tablet with all of the names of those KIA/MIA from WWII. Camp Hale, too, obviously. Many of the CO resorts have some connection, and many of them have a memorial of some sort. Steamboat, Aspen, A-Basin, etc. There’s also random stuff down in northern Georgia, in the Dahlonega area where 5th Ranger Training Battalion is located. Didn’t have access to my cell phone when I was there, though. Chrystal Mountain, WA has some material, but never seen it. They have a 10th MTN ski day as well. Tennessee Pass, Ski Cooper, between Leadville and Vail: Pando/Camp Hale, north of Tennessee Pass: Breck:3 points

Again, I am just a nobody wrestling fan so feel free to let me know where you think I went wrong or if I have the wrong starter or any general feedback ACC Interactive Brackets Interactive Brackets: use the interactive brackets using the following letters: D, M, T, F (decision, major, tech, fall). Seed changes: You can change those seeds on the 125R, 133R, 141R, etc. sheets and it will automatically update the team predictions based off of seeds with no bonus factored in. Incomplete data: I only have a wrestlers record vs. who I am projecting will be the starters at that same weight. The ACC duals are done so I figured I would get started but I will add in wrester's win-loss records, coaches ranking, RPI, and actual wrestlestat ranking (I have them all listed at #99 right now just to make the formulas work). Blast from the past. One of the biggest D1 disappointments for me after watching their dominance for years at state level. Same with the Alton bros - they dominated in HS but did not deliver beyond a 3rd place finish for one of the brothers. I recall the Mom with her camera following her sons from mat to mat.2 points

Tomasello beat three Iowa wrestlers and a PSU wrestler plus Micic to win four B1G titles. Moore couldn't beat Nickal. He beat the other PSU and the Iowa guys. Lost his senior season to COVID. Sasso beat the Iowa and PSU guys. McKenna beat the PSU, Iowa and OKST guys. The OSU guys you mentioned were really good. I'm not convinced they would have been better at PSU, Iowa or OKST. The conversation was fun and civil. I appreciate that...2 points

Why this isn't more prominent on the UWW website I don't know. But this has every UWW event. Click in the event and then Live Results and you can get the complete order of matches for the rest of the session. Tomorrow's is already up there. Results has better brackets, team scores, etc... https://arena.uww.org/2 points

With conference realignment do you think there will be 2 major wrestling conferences (B1G & Big12/ACC/G5) when it’s all said and done? Or will the B1G add schools for wrestling only, similar to the Big 12 & Mizzou, North/South Dakota, Wyoming, Air Force, & northern Iowa? What happens to Oregon State? Personally I dream of Oklahoma State being in the B1G, at least for wrestling since it would bring value and it’s one of few programs that spends B1G money on their program.1 point

And good for you for doing that. I worry that too many fall for the MAGA narrative that The Economy is awful (but never define The Economy), while all the numbers that describe the economy are fantastic.1 point

You mean like in Russia where they have dedollarized their way to double digit inflation and 16% base interest rates and a stock market at half its Oct 2021 value while in the US inflation and interest rates are one third that value and the stock market appreciated 20% in the same time? Yeah, sounds awful to hold dollars.1 point

Certainly outpacing the US in inflation and rising interest rates. "One side effect of the stimulus has been relatively high inflation of 7.4% in 2023, down from 11.9% in 2022. In an effort to prevent inflation from getting out of control, the Russian central bank raised interest rates to about 16%." If we had two years in a row of inflation at 7.4% and 11.9%, central bank interest rates of 16%, leading to mortgage rates around 20%, while fighting an illegal war, and killing anyone who disagreed with the president, you would be losing your mind.1 point

I'm not really an OSU fan, but I did always wish those individuals placed higher than they did. You make excellent points about their competition. I think what stands out to me is that tOSU guys through what I'm assuming are my gently jaded glasses, seem to lack a clutch gene. I should have added Bo Jordan in there as well. My overall opinion on these dudes is they had the tools to get it done. The brutal part is that, I kinda think if these guys had gone to Penn State obviously, but also even Iowa or Okie State, they would have had a better chance of pulling down a national title.1 point

Didn't you guy see pyles 12 minute definitive breakdown where he broke news like this is still a rivalry, carr is 2-1 against o-toole, but KOT won at NCAAs so even though Carr has more wins it sort of doesn't matter because wrestlers care about who wins the NCAA tournament and KOT won the tournament but that doesn't mean pyles is counting Carr out, because carr can make adjustments but will KOT make adjustments, and anticipated counter adjustments, and adjustments adjustments all over the place...but pyles won't tell us that they are... Jokes aside I think KOT has continually improved. I think he's gonna run the table and win the hodge.1 point

McKee will put on an utter display of dominance, the likes of which we have never seen before, resulting in an incredible 3rd place finish.1 point

he lost 6-7 to Sidakov this year and beat mark hall at the same tournament that Trent beat him and then Trent went on to beat Dieringer im not sure if you were trying to discredit what beating kentchadze means 86 is not his optimal weight ill give you that but hes still damn good regardless. Trent also did it in the middle of the folkstyle season. edit: Dieringer being the guy that beat Starocci last year that probably means more to you than anything given your posting history.1 point

Finals for sure. Only Nolf can beat him at this point and he is a major underdog at the senior level, no matter how many strides he has gained. That's not a knock on Nolf, that's acknowledging that even an aging JB is a mf'n dog. Now watch O'Toole lose NCAAs and win the 74 spot lol1 point
