Heartbroken to say the least as a Gopher fan in Indiana/Ohio area. Hoped he would have had a chance at a title in a Gopher singlet one more time. Good luck to him at IU & wish him all the best. He & Gable will still be some of my favorite Gophers along with Dustin & CP.2 points

Did you actually watch the video? Because that is absolutely not what it says. The Arizona sheriff said that it was a great deterrent and it took a fraction of the guards to cover the same area.2 points

Happy to see him return home and give a boost to the Hoosiers - a likeable team as it was1 point

Mizzou 2015. Ended season ranked #1 after beating previous #1 Iowa in national duals finals, in Iowa City. Took 4th at NCAA's.1 point

I showed up for a meeting at my office in a singlet once as a joke. When I got there I found out the meeting had been moved to a nearby cafe. I didn't have time to change and had to attend in my singlet.1 point

Not much, but as Headshuck said, you have to mind the pellet hopper. If it runs down, it kills all of the heat. Other than that, they're pretty easy. Temperature stays consistent too.1 point
-
Minor annoyance when the pellet hopper runs empty and kills the cook. Major annoyance on a super cold winter day that kills the flame and the auger feeds a bunch of pellets into the hopper to try to get back to temp forcing you to tear everything down to clean it out before restarting.1 point

I think they are bumping from 165 on. My guess is the plan is Teemer - McLane - Negron - Valencia - Montalvo - Schultz1 point

Would like to see Arujau get on the podium here... but he'll half to shore up his defense. D31 point

I ask in seriousness: why the Dickens do people do that? And it's not just a few who day, they ALL do. Most baffling wrestling phenomenons out there.1 point

Yes, I agree - they will have some budget challenges going into next season, but even that's up in the air with the crazy conference world we live in now. Fundraising has been pretty decent at Oregon State so that will become more of a focus with the affect on the budget. With Bakersfield, you are correct in that the incoming money - or lack of - does not change in that aspect. The concern would be that changing conferences could add to their expenses significantly. If you look at their schedule most of it is contained to the West with tournaments and Pac 12 conference duals. They had the southern scuffle and then wrestled three duals all at the same location in NC - which is smart on their part. Those were the only two significant travel dates. The closest geographical conference would be the B12. With the fact that everything is more expensive now and adding travel costs, Bakersfield has an uphill battle in what was already an uphill battle. One thing they could have going for them in a change, is that I believe there is a clause for new teams entering that they can limit the conference schedule. If that be the case, then they could keep their mostly western schedule. Another question would be if other conferences would take them in - I would hope they would. It's a tough battle to have to completely fund a program. I can't imagine the energy it takes to run the program and self fund it.1 point
-
Ok, it's relieving that they can't eliminate it entirely. I guess they'll just have to make some major across the board cuts to account for the lost revenue. I don't see why this would be existential for Bakersfield since they weren't getting football/basketball Pac12 revenue.1 point

There’s a flavor piece to wrapping as well. I’m a big fan of black cherry/cranberry juice for soaking, spritzing, and pouring over butcher paper wrapped big cuts, with a long rest afterward.1 point

Well it doesn't say anything about coaching staff. But let's say previous location you had a $500k house with a 3.25% loan and now you have to purchase a $2M house but get a 0% loan, how do monthly payments compare?1 point
-
Yes. Clearly. It's entertainment, showmanship, glitz, pretty girls, clickbait, etc. That's how we turn a humdrum day into NATIONAL SINGLET DAY.1 point

So many questions. Why is there a photo of a Hooters waitress but it was from a diner? No photo of actual waitress or wrestler in singlet? The receipt is from 4 years ago and the “lost a bet/next time table dance” is clearly photoshopped.1 point

As there is with most situations, there’s a lot more nuance to what has been going on with Lee than what should be shared on a forum. A change of scenery is not a bad outcome here for both parties. I wish Brayton Lee luck no matter where he goes or what he does in life. Great person. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

If Willie is going to claim, repeatedly, that Alex Jones was right about many things, one would reasonably conclude that Willie has heard Alex Jones make statements about those many things through the consumption of his content. Also, it’s quite telling that you’re effectively defending Alex Jones by saying that the “BS from the MSM” is what caused my opinion of him. Like he’s not actually a bad guy, but the MSM is out to get him. That’s some gaslighting and you should be ashamed of yourself. Seriously. That’s pathetic. No, I’ve read the transcripts of the trials. The actual testimony. Where that piece of shit got nailed to the wall for doing what he did. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point
