So making a phone call about the election is prosecutable in GA? Did Willis ever hear of Stacey Abrams? Why, Abrams even sued because of the election fraud she claimed. Why is she not being RICO prosecuted? Herschel Walker complained about the senate election. Why is he not being RICO prosecuted? The fact they are not is evidence TDS is strong with Willis. mspart4 points

I have said many times, I can't stand Trump and hope the R's have a different candidate to run for president as I hope the D's have a different candidate as well, but I also find it sad that people are applauding this and celebrating what is happening....this is a sorry time in our history as a country. I don't say that to be overly dramatic but more of a "step back and think about it" commentary. The political narrative and division that is being forced down people's throats by the MSM, social media, and the far right and far left is sickening. And even more concerning is how many people are falling for it. I can't wait for this part of our history to circle back to the middle again...and I have optimism it will based on my kid, his friends, and the kids around his age because they all think for themselves and are extremely anti-far right and far left.4 points

Gable is 100% going. The question is if he is 100% all in and no insider is going to leak that nugget right now. If he’s still spending time doing both then we are going to find out in a couple weeks if his talent really is *that* much better than the competition that he can gap them. If it’s not then I have a feeling his fire will be fully reignited and he’s going to come back all in for Paris. I hope he wins gold this year, but I feel really bad for the Olympics competitors if he doesn’t…2 points

can we just, simply, agree on / admit this: the progressive (and more recently instituted) crime policies were asinine in concept and proven to be unhelpful in practice? can we just agree on that?2 points

When the same poster never addresses the topic at hand and just wants to deflect to a whataboutism it gets quite old. But of course poor Trump is indicted because people don't like him, let's lead with that story.2 points

I never said they aren't people. If they want to get the vaccine, then they should. If they feel they should mask, they should. According to the chart below, 1.06 million people aged 50+ have died of covid. 0.074 million people aged 0-49 have died of covid. Roughly speaking of the deaths by age, 93.5% of the deaths were those 50+, 6.5% were of 0-49. So yes, those over 50, (me included) are more suspectible and should take precautions. What isn't told below is how many of these were people with lousy immune systems or other comorbidities. That information is not useful I guess. Because it would tell a different story than the hysterical "we are going to get covid and we are going to die from it" crowd. We don't even need to get into the percentages of those who had covid who died, those make your case even more eggregious. Suffice to say, that the current mutated form of covid should not be anything like what we had at the beginning. I've had covid and it was pretty bad. I am in pretty good health and don't see a real concern. https://www.statista.com/statistics/1191568/reported-deaths-from-covid-by-age-us/ From my "Twitter is better" post: Compare age of contracting covid vs that age group death and you get a rate. I'll do a few. For those 85+, death rate was 15.8% For those 50-64 death rate was 1.1%. For 40-49, death rate was 0.33%. For 0-17, death rate was 0.098%. Compare this to the total age group population having died from covid and the numbers go down drastically. This is not the emergency you are looking for. mspart2 points

It’s not a day to celebrate. Having a former president turn on his country is nothing at all to celebrate. We can certainly be in favor of accountability, but I don’t think this is a celebratory event.2 points

Kolat was hired as Campbell Head Coach in April 2014. Coleman Scott has hired as assistant coach in May 2014. Became Head coach the following year and we all knew it was gonna happen when he was hired. You would think Kolat had a clue about Mock leaving in the next year. It always seemed like Mock was just sticking around for his kid. I am going to guess that the ship has sailed for Kolat and UNC. Side note, the whole time he coached at UNC, there was a big picture of Jaworsky in the room. He LOVED looking at that every day at work.2 points

lol. why states? oh b/c the data will be twisted to show what you want it to show. the cities are all run by democratic mayors that are continually pushing progressive policies to not enforce laws, punish or prosecute. which is the genesis of this very topic.2 points

I will be praying for you and your family. Pray that God's grace & peace is manifested on you all. God bless 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 KJV "9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong."2 points

OK Ban - What has the Mayo Clinic been saying since day one of the pandemic? I don't know what they have said. You seem to know so it would be good for you to share. Then we could have a reasonable discussion of that information. mspart2 points

“The Sandy Hook thing.” You just did it again. Alex Jones and his associates hounded the families of the kids and adults who died at Sandy Hook relentlessly. Jones raised money for, and provided a camera crew to, a guy who stalked the families and extended for years. That same guy posted their addresses and other personal information. An Infowars camera crew regularly attended school board meetings in Newtown and cast doubt on the deaths of 20 first graders and 6 staffers. Jones claimed that a father of a kid who was shot through the head didn’t hold his dead son when he was allowed to see his body at the school. Jones actively advocated for people to harass the families of the victims. https://apnews.com/article/health-us-news-shootings-texas-lawsuits-d029d6736d2ce6755c9e89e7cf9f27af Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

It’s kind of wild how you trivialize the deaths of children, and the subsequent demonization of their parents by the person in question. The piece of shit you’re referencing was sued, found liable, and then moved his assets around in order to minimize any financial liability. He made hundreds of millions of dollars spreading lies he knew to be lies, and then turned turtle like the whiny little shit he is when it came time to pay the piper. Yes, the Sandy Hook thing. That POS decided he would profit by heaping misery on people who had just experienced unimaginable misery. The details of what he did are horrific. He absolutely and thoroughly disgusts me.1 point

TIL Facundo will be Dake’s partner. If Valencia gets the right draw against some lung grabbers he could have an interesting run. Just as likely for BBQ though. I hate to say it but I think Chamizo regresses to bronze gatekeeper level. Unfortunately Father Time is undefeated and not even Chamizo’s jaw-dropping defense can stave it off. Unless there is a weird draw for BLR and RUS I just don’t see it.1 point

So how do you justify these two polar opposite reactions in your mind? Is there perhaps some nuance you are missing? He loved Jan 6? I don't think so. I think he did not feel the situation rose to the level of treason and sedition like most others in MSM did. And he pretty much proved that with the videos. He hates Trump? He just interviewed Trump. He would not do that if he hated Trump and wouldn't ask the questions he did if he hated Trump. I'm sensing you are missing something here. mspart1 point

I'm not saying that America's system is good - just that Canada's should not be held up as the signing star. I would like to have a full private, non insurance bases system where you can shop around for the best price and you know exactly what you are going to pay up front. In fact there is a hospital in I believe Oklahoma City that does just that.1 point

Our health care isn't free either. We pay a lot just for the policy, then have to pay until we reach the deductible. In the end you are paying $10,000+ before the insurance kicks in. This doesn't mean I want government run health care, but at this point I'm not sure what is worse.1 point

So to understand correctly, he did what they did but because he is who he is and people don't like him, he should be prosecuted. Got it. mspart1 point

It is not free, its paid for in their taxes. It's not accessible - it takes half a year to move from primary appointment to appointment with a specialist. What is the point of a "free" health care system if it's not accessible?1 point

I was at UNC for part of Kolat's time coaching there and there was not a large photo of TJ in the room, the hall leading to the room had old team photos including the years TJ was there, but the room itself was fairly undecorated, might have changed after my time, and that does make for a funny story, but at least when I was there it wasnt true1 point

It is complex. Generally speaking, Marcus was correct that 'poverty is the mother of crime' and Martin was correct that 'The time has come for an all-out world war against poverty' and 'The rich nations must use their vast resources of wealth to develop the underdeveloped, school the unschooled, and feed the unfed.' More specifically, what is the correlation between violent crime and poverty? Why is there a 10x difference in violent crime across social groups in poverty? Is 'soft on violent crime' acceptable? ***duck duck goose** no. How is the city, state, and federal government going to address this? Hint: it is not through deflection and excuses. Any sane person would say 'We have a problem with violence in the city; let's fix it.' Let's start by hard-policing these bad blocks (now) while addressing the culture and opportunities (40 years). We'll have support from the state and the Fed.1 point

Who knows what the actual situation would be, but from an outsider's view: If I were Ramos and given the opportunity, I would be thrilled to spend a couple of years being an assistant with Koll as it would be a tremendous learning opportunity and absolutely raise my value when the time came to take over my own program.1 point

OK, I've had enough. I can't take BB anymore!! Ban him!!! I am serious!!! He is just too civil to be on this board, not breaking rules, and arguing and submitting new music ideas and stuff. Plus he likes it here and wants to stay. What better reason do we have to ban him from here than that!! mspart PS: For all you folks that can't read between the lines properly, I was being sarcastic above. I don't want him banned. But I would like his opinion on my Roger Waters thread. If he doesn't do that, then ban him!!1 point
