This is just not true.  LOL, you're using him losing one scramble position as evidence is ridiculous.  Lee is and was an awesome scrambler.

Not sure what everyone's debating here. He literally told us God told him to de-commit. No reason to read into it any more than that. Kinda sucks God didn't tell him where he should go instead but He's probably busy with the Iran-Israel war right now.

Two points

1) Scrambling - If you want to argue that Spencer wasn't innovative or didn't funk in this department then maybe you can make an argument. But, he was a fantastic scrambler.  Great hip awareness and was phenomenal at keeping his head up.

2) Takedowns - Spencer, when not gassed, is a phenomenal takedown artist.  He didn't need a go to takedown.  He had an array of attacks to take his opponent down.  He was also phenomenal at re-attacks.

Spencer was as complete as a wrestler as one can think of

I know Bill, he is a good dude. I am not saying that I know him well enough that I know what goes on behind closed doors, but that family is a great family.  I have watched Bo lose at Super 32, and come over and hug his dad, and then it is over, back to work.

So with that said I think he goes to Penn St. I Bo-liege Okie St is content with who they have at their middle weights and Bo can step in right after SVN or Kasak.

Did you watch the Olympic finals?  Did you watch him vs Ono?   

 

You're right, he doesn't need a go to takedown he can rely on against the best in the world.

 

When the entire program hasn't had any scrambling ability at all with the exception of a few bought wrestlers like Eierman, I can see why it looks like Lee was a good scrambler to an Iowa fan.   The rest of us have watched actual good scrambling.

Kinda weird how a bunch of people implied Brands cheated (donor NLI) in getting Bo to commit and now are ragging on him for not cheating and getting him to say. 

Also hilarious that Keegan Bassett was so quick to implicate every other program in being willing to break rules - and that the family expected it!
