Leaders from the women’s wrestling community with good communication skills should take the baton from the spineless men and start getting in front of the decision makers of the sport. They got a good story to tell plus women are typically better at convincing woosified men to do what they want. I say send the ladies to the networks to demand more coverage after they convince a few admins from various schools sitting on the fence why they should promote and build the sport and not cut it.

Wow both you and creek chub speak highly of this place. I’ve done my share of hiking in parks all over the country but haven’t heard of Mckavee Knob’in VA. According to Google, its about 4 1/2 hours from my home and worth the drive after seeing some incredible photos online.

I know a lot of wrestlers from the past who did well in wrestling who now have great careers. What it takes to be successful on the mat is also applicable in the work place.

Brown seems like a wrestler who fits the old Iowa style of wrestling. Not sure what excited me more, this match or what happened to the price of silver today.

It bisects the street I live on. As far as bears, they’re more afraid of us. One pulled down my feeder during the summer and I just let him do it. No photos taken and sent in to the media. That would be a death sentence. Just let them be on land that was once theirs.

a thread created in a D1 wrestling forum at approximately 3:00am est to bring back cartoonish emojis???!!! LMFAO!!!And you wonder why the sport takes a back seat to even the most maryannish of all other sports. Some of you 24/7 has-beens are lucky you still have a wrestling forum the way you publicly go after the mods. The forum is free and you can say just about anything within reason. Sometimes these guys even interact with us which Id say is a pretty good relationship unlike other sites. So why ruin a good thing by continuously b and moaning about reactions. I get it, some of you - like the cigarette man, are extremely lonely. You no longer get attention from your wives, children, grandchildren. Seeking attention from fellow posters in a chat room to get “likes” is all that remains for you in this game called life. I’m far from a tech guy but is it possible the combination of ads and reactions was too much for the site when combined with poster participation? It’s interesting once the reactions were removed, participation improved. Eff the reactions and look for ways to grow the forum by attracting new participants and detracting those like lazy cigarette man, a bitter lonely man up all hours of the day and night hoping what little he has to say someone else finds interesting.

Just like the sport itself. We have weak has-been D3 minded individuals running / ruining our sport as evidenced by empty stadium seats and piss poor coverage.

Back in the good ole days we Long Islanders used to get public access tv to most of the Lehigh PA matches. I recall those days vividly.
