Am I giving him too much credit when I say he must be doing partials? He can't know that little about lifting right?

I regret to admit, but I dug in a bit on the comments and he's buying into some psuedo-physio guy that claims you should never break 90 for power lifts. So whether accurate or not, he is subscribing to someone's method of not going beyond 90 degrees.

I assumed, I knew he wasn't that dumb, especially for a guy who probably lives in the comments.

To be honest, it's actually genius 🧠 for social media 📸. Every time someone b*tches 😱 about his lack of full ROM 🏋️‍♂️, his account gets higher priority in the algorithm and he gains visibility 👀 and more ad money 🤑, helping the man with Italian genetics 🇮🇹 secure the bag💰🏎️💨💨💨

I think there is a pretty decent push right now for athletes to train strictly at the top range of movement for explosivity. I can see some benefit to it because you get no recoil although that can be mitigated by pausing at the bottom, but you risk more load to the joint then. To each their own I suppose not my cup of tea, but neither is complaining in a comment section about someone not using full ROM.
