What is each state's all-star team based on athlete's home states? I'll do Missouri.

  • 125: Jeremiah Reno (Little Rock)
    • 2022-2023 season: 16-10 record; DNQ for NCAAs
  • 133: Kai Orine (NC State)
    • 2022-2023 season: 18-8 record; 8th @ NCAAs
  • 141: Kal Miller (Maryland)
    • 2022-2023 season: 18-18 record; 2-2 @ NCAAs
  • 149: Brock Mauller (Mizzou)
    • 2022-2023 season: 20-4 record; 7th @ NCAAs
  • 157: Jarrett Jacques (Mizzou)
    • 2022-2023 season: 19-7 record; 2-2 @ NCAAs
  • 165: Gavin Londoff (Lindenwood)
    • 2022-2023 season: 5-1 record; Lindenwood ineligible for postseason until 2026-2027 season
    • 2020-2021 season: 12-1 record; 3rd @ DII's
  • 174: Gaven Sax (NDSU)
    • 2022-2023 season: 12-12 record; DNQ for NCAAs
  • 184: Colton Hawks (Mizzou)
    • 2022-2023 season: 19-12 record; 2-2 @ NCAAs
  • 197: Rocky Elam (Mizzou)
    • 2022-2023 season: 15-2 record; 3rd @ NCAAs
  • 285: Zach Elam (Mizzou)
    • 2022-2023 season: 22-6 record; 6th @ NCAAs

Obviously we know PA, NJ, CA would have great teams. Still interested to hear each state's team.

Very solid lineup, as expected. Surprising none of those hammer 165s are from PA.

Illinois is a top 2-4 state consistently. They just never keep enough Chicago kids home

Solid 6 though. The Lamer's could have nice team just themselves. Haha.

I know how tough it is in HS. I coach a lot of kids from IL. Just seems like most of their top end talent doesn't reach the same heights in college that they do in HS. But 8 AA's says otherwise.

I like Zac Braunagel's prospects in challenging for the 197 spot in this lineup. He had an identical dual meet record to Warner (9-4) this year, but a key difference is that Braunagel started every Illini dual, while Warner sat out a few (including vs Wisconsin where Iowa took a loss at 197 and had to squeak by on criteria). Zach also had a better conference dual record, and won head to head against Warner in the dual vs Iowa.

I like your argument and wouldn't disagree if you went ZB over JW.  I put Warner in the lineup based on his more extensive resume.

I understood this as an all star lineup based on current athletes and not an all time line up.  I reckon if it is the latter then everyone's list will look a bit different.

@CHROMEBIRD pointed out that confident and wrong are traits shared by posters on this board and AI. It is so hard to know anymore.
