Oh dang I totally forgot about him!  The Illinois line up just got a lot more fun to watch!

Austin Gomez and Yahya Thomas are very interesting. Most would not pick Thomas, but one could make a very plausible argument he had a better career arc, life-altering concussions notwithstanding, than Gomez did. Also Thomas finished higher than Gomez in the same bracket this past season which is the definition of this topic.

Would you rather have three seasons of  R12 + 4th + R16, or four seasons of JV + 3rd + R12 + R12? Because...

Gomez - 18: redshirt, 19: R12, 20: [out], 21: [out], 22: 4th, 23: R16

Thomas - 18: redshirt, 19: JV, 20: covid, 21: 3rd, 22: R12, 23: R12

I don't give a damn if he grew up in New Mexico; Real Woods lived and wrestled all four years in Illinois.  He belongs to us!

Conversely DJ Shannon wrestled in Missouri during high school I do not claim him.

The Izzy voodoo is real

Also, the first part doesn't coincide with OP's OP... see below, Doc.

And I'm making him my 125. You want to put McCrone at 125 go ahead.

Fixed 285 for you.  He did wrastle a bit.

You did a piss poor job brother. Unless Feldman snuck into OH for HS graduation.:classic_dry:

It's my list boys.

Carry on.

You needed a Heavy.  I authorized the transfer, mate.

If we go by hometown that they themselves provide, Woods is from New Mexico and Pucino is probably next best. Even as a long time Hamiti Homer, I expect it to be Caliendo as the top 165 from that state going forward.

Also probably replace Yahya with Gomez, though maybe not as @bnwtwg pointed out.  I still think it's PA pretty handily

Yep this is based on their self described hometown and state.  I also have the information for high schools which tends to inflate PA and NJ further due to Wyoming Seminary and Blair

Taking some liberties….

133  Steevo Poulin (Northern Colorado)

149  Jesse Vasquez (Arizona State)

Pulling kids from NY and CA to represent your state would definitely qualify as “taking liberties”

Her insider trading bill she is trying to get through looks promising on the surface.
