This.  Knowing that you're a Facundo fan I was always under the impression he's more focused on Free than Folk.  Am I wrong?

I think so, too.

That also lends me to believe that he is injured, unless I missed his registration for the Open.

I would be very interested in seeing him go 79 KG next weekend (I do believe he is still U20 eligible - if not go Seniors) as well as head up to 174 while Starocci focuses on 74 KG Olympics.

While they can play with the redshirt and greyshirts, at some point this is going to affect actual eligibility years, and that's when some kids will start leaving.  Not the cream of the crop, of course.

Patrick Nolan in the portal for Michigan.  He was going to be their starter next year while frosh redshirt (Mattin is likely off to Med school).

I hope he heads to a MAC or SOCON school and ends by qualifying for NCAAs next season.

With Mattin off to Dental school next year Michigan now needs a 141lber.

I don't think Facundo is too worried.  He has Worlds and Olympic aspirations and he knows that State College is his best chance for that.

Winning NCAA titles ruined so many guys careers. Dake. Taylor. Snyder. Not sure how they ever managed.

What does that have to do with anything that was said?

In the scenario I'm guessing yes

Well that would be cool.

I remember when they were seniors they had a massive 1V2 showdown.  Now they would get to train together.

Willie said it’s not SDSU in the replies. I’m surprised by that.

Nevills slides in to the 4-5 range, I think.  He beat Luffman 6-3 a couple years ago and has better common opponents than Slavikouski (Slav lost to Christian Lance where Nevills beat him).

Should be good shit.

Well, it's too bad that University of Montana at present doesn't have a school of dentistry... Had they done so, young Mr. Matin could've gone of to Montana to raise  up a crop of dental floss to help defray the cost of school.

(Would've been a great idea at the time... had those Grizzlies established said dental school, but  what the hey, eh? 😉)

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Also, too bad Marquette cut their program due to lack of funding...despite more than enough money to fund the program being raised.

Oh well....

Gable wanted to return last season, but contract dictated no.

Blockhus has always had a dream to go into MMA. It’s a long journey and a short window. He put a lot of thought into his decision and the staff supported his decision to follow his dream. Blockhus has nothing but love for MN.

Ramos may have not seen a path to starting at that time. He was behind McKee, he may have been losing in the room to Gliva early on. He was a low Ncaa seed when he pinned Byrd and went to rd of 12. He has just exploded at Purdue but he wasn’t that guy when at MN just yet.
