He's batting 100% with at least 4 that were not obvious. We must accept that the best insider in the entire community is now JawnCena692 points

The Dynasies: 1928 to 1971- Oklahoma State 1975 to 2000- Iowa 2011 to Present- Penn State In the ten championships from 2001 to 2010, there was no clear top dog: Oklahoma State won four times Iowa won three times Minnesota won three times Iowa State and Oklahoma broke through a number of times (eight for Iowa State and seven for Oklahoma), but when they did so it was always during another team's era.2 points

Well...not Schultz...but sure. I would think if you're bulking up, you're probably going to try and get up to ~220-225 while lifting and just not cutting weight(it's about as big as I can imagine Brooks getting). So maybe he just doesn't want to cut at all, even a relatively easy cut. I'm like 99% sure you can still be tested even if you're not competing though, so I doubt that's the reason. Some bigger conspiracy. Like Cael, a guy who doesn't drink Coffee is running some big roid ring for his Wrestlers and scheduling competition around it? Seems...a bit silly.2 points

Tis. But I do remember. Psu people saying they don’t compete early because of ott/wtt and then a ton of them not showing up. Sounds familiar/similar here. I’m not looking it up. I called out the psu fans then. They didn’t care then. They won’t care now. Tis how they roll. as I said earlier. Psu fans are bad for the sport.2 points

all of the above may be true, but it doesn't make the final product less, nor the 'built not bought' phrase inaccurate. the bottom line is, they just finished ncaa runners up with 7 homegrown AA's and another that cost exactly zero NIL/portal dollars.1 point

I am, and I hope, I like Rogotzke he's a pinner...I hate to see him transfer out...1 point

Ya he wrestled for Aurora, won 2 state titles, actually beat Shumate in freestyle back in the day...I saw he was in the portal...it'd be a nice pickup...1 point

Out of the 7 correct he was the first on 4-5 of them too so it doesn't seem like he's playing the guessing game either1 point

He did commit to Wisconsin and he was there for a little while and then went back to Wartburg. The reasons are not known to me.1 point

I don't have any insider information, but it would seem weird to me that a guy with world level aspirations would complain about D1 intensity.1 point

In all fairness (and because we know how Caveira post') I didn't sense he was going nuts...1 point

Appreciate you sharing the article...I think there's enough time before worlds that Ramazanov and Novikov will end up wrestling at worlds. We heard from Ramazanov and he seemed optimistic about being able to compete moving forward but did acknowledge the complications. If I had to guess, this is more of a power play by the new federation president. It's certainly serious and probably means they won't accept transfers from here on out.1 point

Only one he got wrong was Rocky Elam to Michigan. Everything else he has predicted correctly and earlier than anyone else.1 point

its just PR spin. They dont have the fund to compete with Iowa, Michigan, tOSU for Guys like Bailey, McNeil, and Stiles. They had a good tournament and they spin all of this to say "built, not bought," but they are trying to buy guys too - just cant compete financially PR 1011 point

Humans have been cheating since the dawn of time. Humans will continue to do so. Even in our great sport. In all walks of life there are cheats. I would think there are almost no arguments to sway me of this idea.1 point

Im beginning to be more fascinated by people only keeping the discussions about old school anabolics and ozempic even though multiple people have pointed out that there's way more drugs available and being used1 point

The discussion of jacked wrestlers who look 3 weight classes heavier starts and stops with Ryan Deakin. A friend who attended some Stanford duals told me that Deakin is visually bigger than Pat Brucki, who was a jacked 197 lb. multi-AA. It defies logic how Deakin was a 157 lb. wrestler. He would've been big and jacked at 174. Never seen anything like him.1 point

Good. Too many transfers. Goes for US guys too. Let the actual people living in, and being raised by the nation and its people, be its representatives in sport. Mercenaries not wanted. The win at all costs culture permeating sport is a shame. It is sport.1 point

It meshes really well with the cross tattoo. But tattooing your birth year on your chest is ultra cringe. I don't mind it on women though1 point
