I think it was a lifestyle shift. His brother mentioned before NCAAs that he was stepping down, and also said something about coming home (Michigan) so they could be a family again, but that may have been misinterpreted from Reader wanting to be with HIS family. He appears happy doing roof sales and pretending to use hammers and the like
