Cannon will get manhandled at 174…he may AA at 165 but he’s not reaching the podium at 174.

Levi Haines....

I read Jesse as a joke but I saw it on a couple sites and thought these dudes might be crazy enough to have hope in that…I don’t even have the hope to entertain it. Lol

Paddy is a better option at 165 or 174 than Birden. I projected Paddy sliding into AA this year with pretty decent confidence and Birden…I mean I think that would have had to have been a phenomenal run. Paddy’s floor puts him right around there while Birden’s ceiling is there…guys just not as strong as he needs to be at the weight.

Cannon will get manhandled at 174…he may AA at 165 but he’s not reaching the podium at 174. Love the guy and he’s got heart most don’t but that’s a huge jump his bodies not ready for.

I think Cannon will be just fine at 174lbs.

I heard WVU might have some pretty big visitors in town this weekend..

does anyone have a clue on who they they might be?

my guess:
Tom Crook for 149
Gage Wright for 165
And a handful of heavies (Tabor, Vanadia, Herrera, Doolin)

WVU would be a good fit for Wright since he’s from WV. He’s gonna be a good one once he gets back on his he mat full time either at 174 or 184.

Tampa Tom is solid but would be curious if Morgantown would be a cultural shock. Maybe not but he’s a great guy and hope he lands some where he likes soon.

If Fuggit lands in Ohio State after his visit, I am assuming he goes 141 with Bouzakis staying down at 125.

I really can't see Bouzakis going 125 again. The reason he basically faded at the end of the season was most likely due to the weight cut taking its toll over the course of the season. They had to load manage the guy as it was through out the season so he wasn't cutting weight every week. He didn't look any were near to the same wrestler at the end.

Bouzakis is just in a bad spot. Sources inside the building say he will not make the cut to 125 again (good he shouldn’t), Davino shouldn’t bump to 141, hypothetically if they get Fugitt for 141 I’m not sure Bouzakis can put it all together at that weight to edge him out. Keeping in mind Fugitt would also be moving up a weight and more comfortable. His best option for starting (and producing) is Davino gifting him 133, Davino moves up (bad move) and they don’t get Fugitt.

I’m missing the correlation between Cannon and Haines? Two different body types and styles.

Cannon will have to get on the Levi Haines diet when he goes from 57 - 74...

Bouzakis wrestles 25 or he doesn't wrestle.

BAM BAM too shy for the portal?

Doesn’t Fugitt have two years left? If they do bring him in, how does that align with getting the younger Brown to flip? I imagine Brown RS this year but I’m not sure whether 149 is in he or Fugitt’s future.

Paddy doesn’t need another year. He had a great AA run this year and it is time to move on.

Could we see both Stiles and Cannon go up two weights? Shapiro seems like a decent Ohio State fit but they need to make room unless he can drop to 149. Maybe he heard about the money they were throwing at Joy and said if he doesn’t want it I’ll take it.

Buckeyes didn't know that Fugitt was going to be in the portal and they love 4xers from STED.

Agreed.

Stiles at 57, Birden at 65, Cannon at 74.

Would have taken Shapiro from the start, but he's just hurt too much now...

Cannon is way to small for 174. He wasnt even that big at 157

Aj didnt get worse.

lol yes he did.  He had twice as many losses this year than he had in his entire career prior, including getting majored by a guy he had previously beaten.

He also might be one of the first guys ever to do worse at 285 than 197.

Looks like it’s AJ and Kyle Burwikkk

Thanks to Bono refusing to sign off on his transfer and the a typo of his name on message boards, it seems Burwikk's legacy far exceeds his accomplishments on the mat.

Record wise yea he was worse. But he was moving up to HWT he really is no heavy. so there is context there that matters I would have guessed he would have been number 2 at 197 just speculating but that was not a very tough weight
