Im involved in two seperate debates (non internet) right now. Who are some of the best college leg riders you can you think of? Do you have an opinion on leg riding? Do you have an opinion on cross body vs parallel?

Daton Fix is the greatest double boots parallel rider of all time. He was a generational talent when it came to milking the riding time clock.

Do you think leg riding is mostly a stalling tactic at that level or thats how he used it?

I can't recall the last time I saw someone turn someone with double legs in at the D1 level so I strongly lean towards it being a stalling tactic. But it can serve to exhaust the bottom wrestler. Retherford used the double leg ride during his freshman campaign and, if I recall correctly, really took the starch out of stieber using that position during their first match up (obligatory long bus ride and "touch of the flu" caveats)

For LEHIGH, Josh Humphreys wasn't too shabby:

ALSO... the Ciasulli brothers (Matt & Seth) were pretty devastating as well.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

This is how it's supposed to be done.  Start @2:11

I Don't Agree With What I Posted

In my mind some of the very best are Dave Schultz (during his freestyle career), Terry and Troy Steiner, Tim Krieger, Mike Sheets, Mark Churella, and then his sons, both Josh and Ryan.  Dan Zilverberg and one of his protege's....Pat McNamara.

I'm still at a loss as to how they didn't give him an escape vs the match vs O'Connor.

He kicks out, rolls and is on his back with 1 second on the clock, up to his feet, 5 feet away, still 1 second left.

Slow it down...this one bugs me as I had Haines winning it and Humphrey taking 2nd with O'Connor...IDK, 3, 4th, not top 2.

Lost a bracket and a pool on this one...

All time is Zain Retherford, Mike Sheets, Ethan Lizak, AJ Schopp.  Currently Ridge Lovett (his teammate Brock Hardy ain't too shabby either).
