I didn’t realize that other than the 4 transfers OSU got this offseason, the rest of their starting lineup (including 2 prior transfers) is from Oklahoma.

I think at least Spratley and Jamison transferred to Oklahoma during high school.

The odds of Caliendo bonusing Amine is very low.  Amine isn't an offensive dynamo, but he is very good at holding others offense at bay.

Just the opposite, Spratley grew up in Eufala, OK and moved to Plano, TX his later years of high school.  Jamison grew up in Durant, OK and moved to Plano, TX in his later years of high school.  So I would say they are both true Oklahomans!

I’m on the Surber bandwagon.  To me, Surber looked more dominant over Stephen Little than Buchanon, and Buchanon had a slim victory over Salazar, who Plott majored at NCAAs last year.

No, I’m confusing Buchanon with Barr.   When I look at the results between Buchanon, Barr, Little, Salazar, and Surber, Surber looks as strong as Buchanon.

Agree with all of this, though we saw MM absolutely break Amine last season with his pace. Caliendo knows this, and if anyone else at the weight is capable of pushing tempo against Amine, it's him.

MM only won by major in that match in the dual and did not break him at the NCAA's "only" beating Amine 6-1.  The dual loss was the only match Amine has lost by bonus in his career. 

Caliendo has been very impressive this year outside of the MM match, but the chances to bonus Amine still seem very low.

IIRC, MM had a last second takedown that was waved off and would've been a major. Anyway, Amine won't be able to wrestle at CHA like he did against MM at Nationals without getting stalled out. It like he was trying to avoid being blown out than actually win the match. 

I picked Cal over Amine by dec a couple of pages ago; just saying that if anyone has a chance of bonusing Amine, he's the guy.

I could see:

• Caliendo getting a major, but off the top of my head I really only remember MM scoring bonus on Amine (I could be wrong about that). 
• Hamiti getting only a decision, but I think Kennedy goes after him and leaves himself vulnerable to points being put on the board. I actually think Nelson would be a safer bet for the  to hold it to a decision. 
• Plott getting only a decision, but I went off what we have seen this season. Stock down on Gabe and Plott bonuses just about everyone not named Keckeisen (and Starr but they haven't wrestled).
• Buch getting only a decision, but again I went off what I've seen this season. Stock way up on Buch in my eyes. 
• Hendrickson getting only a tech or major, but same as the previous two weights. Stock way up on Hendrickson in my eyes. 

So yes, I think the   have a path to victory. I don't think they even need to wrestle a "perfect" dual. But I see the  having multiple paths to victory. I will be in attendance and will be my first CHA experience. Very excited.

I mean it's not impossible that Caliendo gets the major, but I think it's more likely that Amine wins than Caliendo scores bonus.  In 6 years of NCAA competition Amine has conceded a single bonus point.
