The funny part to me, ISU being the first to be in trouble. Milner (app st) was getting phone calls the first year he AA, while he was at nationals. I won't name the team(s) but that is factual. The Gardner Webb 133 (Davis) last year, had a Big 12 coach, come directly up to him and made him an offer if he would portal. This shit has been going on for years, I guess Perry is just too dumb he got caught. There are 2 BIg 12 teams that are TERRIBLE about recruiting violations. This might slow them down now, who knows. I can name 3 wrestlers right now that left their program and they were contacted about going into the portal. All 3 came from a smaller college, and were not on the radar until they made it to nationals, then the phone starting ringing.

Think about it, Willie started it, what would you say? It has not evolved any, in my opinion. Willie can go into details on why he doesn't think it have the excitement that it used to. For me, it has to do with opinon's who are would be a great match up. I am getting older now, and I don't keep up with the rankings, or matches I would want to see. But, Willie would work for example: Jax is 133 this year in college, and Bo is 141, If they were in highschool, Willie would know that is a match people would want to see....he would talk to both camps and try to make that match.

meeehhh, some of this is true, and some of it is not. Perry for sure partied, ALOT. Hell, I was out a few times and drank with him. There was no sweet talking CC, he was leaving OSU, that I know. On that topic, he was a pretty weak minded kid, to be honest. There are stories at ISU where he did not want to cut the weight, and he would cry because he didn't want to do it. Now, there is no shame in crying, I guess, but I was shocked this big time recruit was so weak minded. Anyway, I had not heard about the living with athletes, but not shocked if true. I don't know why you are blaming injuries on Perry, he barely went live at ISU. He did some, but not enough to "hurt" kids. I think he is a waste of talent, and knowledge. I was told he was the best technical coach out of all the coaches at ISU, so take that for what it is worth. BUT HE IS A BLOCK HEAD. I thought you would be more talking about Brayden Thompson, than anyone else. Rumors were going around, he has been on Thompson since he got to ISU, take that for what it is worth. I will leave this here, and this is not a flex. I told Dresser to becareful with Perry, good recruiter, great knowledge of the sport, but carries a heavy bag with him. I don't feel sorry for ISU at all, they knew what they were getting into.

Sincerely curious on your Williams take, can you please walk me through how he gets 4th. Who does he beat? That is banking on him staying out of trouble the whole year.

Deluca was/is tough as hell. Another kid that was around on some of these dual teams. He has had more injuries than any kid that I know at that age, and that is saying something. A better bet would be: does he make it the whole year, my money says no. I think he has had two knee injuries, and two should injuries....to date.

My kid was on several dual teams with him, he has been good a long time. I am not a huge fan of his dad, but Seth is a gamer. He seldom gets rattled, and he puts pressure on you. For what it is worth, I agree on your Fugitt take, he was not getting developed at Wisconsin, and when Reader left, I know Zan was gonna go. I honestly thought he would end up at OHIO ST, but Mizzu makes sense for him to go back home.

I 100% agree on Seth Mendoza, I called him AA with some buddies, and they say no way. That kid is a gamer.

Go for it. I will help set up some names out there for you, coaches and wrestlers. We need to hurry, the groups I am close to, are JR's and SR's this year, so we are on the clock. I can get a few coaches, and I can get some former "older" AA's. We could mix it all around, and talk to some D2 and Juco kids and coaches. Kinda show how much of a grind and you truly have to LOVE wrestling at those levels. I will help in any way that I can.

Let me throw this in there too. I have personally talked to 3 D1 coaches, one of which I would say we are pretty close. I am told most the coaches think Kish is a moron. Now, maybe that is not fair to say "most coaches" because that is a pool of 3 out of ????. My point, he seems to not be well liked or respected. OU will never be what it was back in the day, but I do think they could get a better coach.

Here is the concern. OU is playing the portal game, and they do not have a lot of money to play that game, compared to the "major programs". At some point, you have to develop your recruits. Kish has fVcking sucked at development. 125 is a stud, so that will look good on his resume. I don't see how Braun does not see the lineup, to be honest I thought he could be Powe, and he and wells had some tight matches last year. I do not keep up with that program as much as I did in the past. I think they had 500K last year total all on for NIL, I do not know what they have this year. I am crossing my fingers Chad Richison gets back to being involved in the program, and then you will see some changes. Kish aint the guy IMO, but then you might ask, who is. I don't know who would want that job. The down hill slide started with Lou. At that point, they could have got a young, up-and-coming coach that I believe would have changed the trajectory of that program. I know there were some OU alums that were interested in that job, now, they are not. $$$$$ would change that, but again, they just don't have alot of that. The final start was when they pushed Ware out. That was the last tie to that program, and he is a good coach. We shall see.....someone said, if Kish does not show up this year, he will be on the hot seat. This is the best team he has had, and this is almost the Texas Tech of wrestling. ALL of these guys are bought, they have a lot of money in this team.

JW has always got in his own way, his entire life he has got in his own way. All the talent in the world, but just can't get it right. Many tried to help him a long the way, but he would just fall back to screwing up. I really hope this year he puts it all together.

The reality of it, there is nothing else out there, so I use FLO for tournaments etc. I just happened to click on FLO and see him and his kid sitting there and thought, holy $hit, he thinks the world wants to hear from his kid. Now let's talk wrestling and your only job is to keep up with what is going on in the sport. Would you say that is his/FLO's job? They just went round table on the weights, and where they think they finish in NCAA's. I literally watched the 133/141 to see what is up and their thoughts. first off, they have Eli Griffin still at Rider as a SR and they ranked him round of 12. Griffin is done, was done last year and graduated. Should they know that? Mother of F yes! Willie can tell you what a 5th grader is doing and what tournaments he has won, and prolly tell you his best wins on the year. WHY? It is his job to know. He takes pride in everyone going to him to do rankings. He calls himself the best in the world on rankings. So, he is going to spend the time and research on knowing all there about the top talent out there. Secondly, would you think he would do his reseach on where kids are going this year? What weights? I am not certain, but I would bet Fugitt goes 141 next year, just the way the line up lays out, and Walker going up from 125 to 133. I could be wrong, but they didn't even have that as an option. FINE, I will eat it, I bitch. But, when you pay for a service, you expect good service. When you charge $150 a year for a subsription, you better be ready for criticism.
