Stupid because there's ~50 other moves he could've picked from that work on Lee every time.

No, but that was an extremely low percentage move that basically resulted in him throwing himself to his back.

 

Yes, Lee still wins by pin or fall 99.9% of the time but if you were picking the best possible move in that situation, well...
