    hmmm.... how about we just give 10 for a fall.......... back in the day, before majors and tech's a fall was worth double a decision. Giving 10 for a fall would put a falls importance more in line with it's difficulty. IMO..... a fall is what EVERYONE should be working for. again......back in the day, forfeits and defaults were worth the same, point wise, as a fall.

    I am not going to go down their roster and show you how many top 10 guys they have. you are cherry picking one particular year. I don't think you are trying to say they get very few top 10 guys .........or are you?

    because "back then" Iowa was coaching them up.......... now days incoming wrestlers have so much experience they come in ready to go. And PSU is getting almost ALL the top guys. Only $$$$ would have the landscape making change. The portal will have an effect on the guys that come into PSU and NOT be THE GUY. But even then THE GUY isn't entering the portal. So you still have PSU with nearly ALL the top guys.

    the Brands did well keeping (for the most part) Desanto in check and on track. If someone were to come in and be a problem........ they won't last. Just ask PD3. Hopefully if this family gets to Iowa they get on the bandwagon for the good guys.

    when I got half way and knew I couldn't make it all the way...........I just turned back. Lucky for me I made it..........every time.

    I think people say......"whoever" got a bad draw is simply referencing the tough road to winning or AAing. Not usually that they got screwed... tho that happens as well on occasion.

    I hope Max makes it this year. He is a workhorse. He will absolutely be a guy I will be watching for his matches to come up and watch the battles live. What is the over under on how banged up he will look at the end of the tournament?

    CKLV was not always as tough as it is now........ lets see there Iowa's tournament is 10-12 years down the line.

    I'll recheck my numbers. My trip to Tulsa starts Monday. I always head out a day early just in case weather is an issue flying outta here.

    "back in the day".......... guys would bump to wrestle tough guys.....it was almost always a bump up..... not go down. Schalles regularly bumped to wrestle a tough opponent. Many others did it as well.
