In the moment he loses I think he's almost an okay guy.  He throws fits after wins but not losses.  After these losses he went and cheered his teammates on in the finals.

Then the further away from the loss the worse he gets.  A day or two for the forced humility to wear off and we get the accusation followed by the absurd apology.  Winning makes him truly insufferable.

Too bad for his sake there isn't someone to follow him around and kick the crap out of him every day.

Nebraska should do the right thing and send him to the curb

Seems pretty obvious there is only one coach who can train AJ to an NCAA title.  The Focus will be joining the Oklahoma State women's team Fall of 2026.  This will allow him to avoid injury with a Penn St type first semester thru mid Jan schedule.  He will then transfer/portal over to the men's team ~1.5 months out from B12 and cruise thru to an NC title just like he did true Fr year under JS.

PS:  please keep this under wraps as we dont want to scare John, he already aged a decade the first year of AJ.

He specifically referenced Yonger, talking about their prior results at 197, the size he gained (30 pounds of muscle), and made claims about acne on Yonger's face and back!  Some real alternative facts going on here, lol.

Yeah but how could you read that and make the assumption he was taking about Yonger when he just mentioned him by name multiple times as he was describing him in detail? I mean talk about crazy assumptions one can have….

Better yet, keep him on the team but off the lineup. Let him burn his final (undeserved) year of eligibility

Why are you hating on a young man who clearly needs wrestling badly? Don't be a jagoff.

Who else would he have been talking about? I wonder if he’ll need surgery on his badly torn knee? If so, will it be his 4th - 6th surgery he’s had?

The far ankle 2.0 mixed with the roll through heel hook style scrambles do such a number on guys legs.  Spencer Lee was the first guy to do the zero ACL wobble, it looked like blaze the elder had both knees taped too.

I used to be jealous that shoulders aren’t getting abused as much as they used to, but my goodness, I’m starting to feel lucky.  15 years removed and I am very grateful to be able to walk and hike and travel on my own two legs without issue or hesitation.

These guys are giving up their mobility to try to not get taken down.

The sport, especially ACL’s, are badly awaiting a technique evolution.

The odds for ACL tear in wrestling are very low compared to other sports.  It's mostly a non-contact injury that happens while running and cutting.  I am sure funk has made wrestling harder on ACLs, but this sport isn't very tough on ACLs in general.

I always tell this to kids that use the excuse that they don’t want to wrestle because of risk of injury. However, I do think it’s worth noting that the data they use in this study is pretty old (one they linked is from 2016). So it really doesn’t tell us if it’s been increasing in recent years

I'm no advocate for his behavior by any means It's getting a bit much.   I do however question his support system.  To me it seems like someone trying to be better genuinely, they simply don't know how. I'm not going to pretend to know the details of his upbringing.  But I know what I've seen the last few years. Being raised the way I assume he was, and bouncing from place to place can make it difficult to find a stability mentally.  I get his age, and the money he is probably making, so he has every excuse to not be a punk.  but I've seen young men like this before and when they don't believe they can, or want to be better they turn full heel with a vengeance.  Just my 2 cents.  (Which is probably worth more to keep nowadays) Lol

I don't get how the influencer economy works, but I assume that this guy has a lot of followers and that his content drives significant engagement.

So, my question: In the competition for followers and engagement, does it matter if he's a liar, a clown, or a moron? What's the downside to making false accusations and later sorry-no-sorrying in gibberish?

I can't see one. It has extended his relevance waaay more than the NC and a couple AAs.

That’s a horrible thing to wish on a country.
