  1. I guess he does know a thing or two about tweets being deleted. But yes, that is certainly an odd thing to say.
  2. Deleted. What did it say?
  3. He probably made more at OSU than as an athlete at NLWC, but he may also make more as a coach at NLWC than an athlete at NLWC. I don’t think his full salary from OSU is public though, I just looked and unless I did something wrong it was coming up as only like $20K (and DT “only” like $200K)
  4. Not sure what “first comment” you’re referring to. She’s quoting Mike Lee and saying he’s wrong. Kelley has been very critical of libs fwiw.
  5. Probably would have gotten more votes if the bill didn’t require married women to also have a passport. Many seem to be claiming a REAL ID is proof of citizenship, but it is not:
  6. Maybe Kennedy was mad he couldn’t be in the corner during the Hendrickson match?
  7. I do agree that CSUB deserves support. Interestingly Gardner Webb’s wrestling team today raised 35% more than CSUB’s entire athletics department.
  8. Whole school all departments…
  9. Maybe he’ll commit on his show and become the first person to commit somewhere other than Penn State
  10. Handsome Tuesday is probably available
  11. Possible, but didn’t Gilman and Kennedy work together for several years at NLWC? I also wouldn’t be so quick to say he’d just fire Caldwell. Taylor may have thought it was important to have at least some continuity from the old regime.
  12. Back to Gilman, if I’m not mistaken I don’t believe he said anything about being closer to the wife’s family in PA. IMO seemed to be driven by “not getting along with the staff” but no clue what that means
  13. Of course. I have not seen any comments he’s made since NCAA’s. if he said something to the effect of “I felt I could have won it last year” then he probably doesn’t think he “jumped levels”
  14. I don’t know Troy Spratley. Has he said he thought he jumped levels?
  15. OK and in their last tournament Swiderski scored 2 more points. “Different tiers” is a stretch IMO, but you are welcome to your own opinion.
  16. What do they mean when they say “survey” here? Like they sent out a survey about unemployment benefits and are just citing some of the responses, or are they confirming these actually happened?
  17. But it seems silly to limit the judgement to only NCAA’s. Jamison has some great wins in the regular season/B12’s. I also wouldn’t totally poo-poo Alirez this year, despite the limited regular season schedule he did have an 8-2 win over Composto who ended up taking 4th. I’m guessing the loss to Rivera was more of a sad boy hours situation. It does seem that it is well known Jamison cuts a lot of weight, so in terms of can he replicate some of those 141 wins at 149, I would tend to think so. But sure, TBD if he can do it at NCAA’s.
  18. I mean he didn’t say he couldn’t coach either. His example of a “floor” was Chertow who ran very successful camps, so seems like he could coach too. Overall I’d actually agree with the comment that Spratley didn’t really jump levels. Since people are citing examples the best example of that is probably beating Strickenberger last year but then losing to him twice this year. He was able to peak at the right time though, Gilman may have helped with that but that could have been also more driven from Taylor
  19. I mean there’s not a huge separation there TBH. Tagg and Rivera both finished R16 this year. D’Emilio did not AA the year Swiderski beat him and Kinner finished 8th.
  20. Gilman did confirm he is going to NLWC (specifically said not PSU) as a coach.
  21. He can coach, can he deal with administrators? He seems like a guy that should open his own youth club
  22. Oh, the whole school and not just athletics
