  1. I’m not sure. But if it’s not, it’s a hell of a lot closer to a genocide than white farmers in South Africa.
  2. Please quote where anyone said this never happens. Thanks in advance.
  3. I didn’t say it’d be “condoning” prostitution, I said some people could see it that way. So I wouldn’t be surprised if the admin didn’t want him there. Were Taylor and Snyder close?
  4. Yes. Maybe he tried the Fix family water bottle but it still wasn’t helping him cut enough weight
  5. Was Gilman friends with Derek Fix?
  6. I think it’s more about the NLWC bringing someone back in that knowingly violated the rules. But maybe they didn’t know about it.
  7. Someone that doesn’t want to be seen as condoning prostitution? He’s on the decline anyway. Unless Zahid or Hendrickson specifically want to train with him, I’m not sure if it’s the best idea.
  8. The entire thread is a strawman argument, no one said this never happens.
  9. CLAIM: A video from a 1985 hearing exposes Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden for using the N-word, stating: “We already have a n----- mayor, we don’t need any more n-----big shots!” AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. Biden was not making the statement himself, he was reading a racist statement made by a state legislator during a redistricting process in Louisiana that was overseen by a deputy attorney general nominee. Biden was questioning the nominee under oath about the comments during a U.S. Senate hearing.
  10. Thanks. Then it makes even less sense why he wouldn’t just tell USADA he was no longer competing.
  11. Two things Pretty sure that was a joke from @bnwtwg And Dylan Palacio was certainly talking about it (albeit I believe in response to Nickal)
  12. This. I don’t think this is any indication he was on something banned, it just seems dumb that he wouldn’t just say he was retired if he didn’t want to comply. I believe there’s a minimum time you need to be “un-retired” for if you want to come back, but isn’t it probably less (or at least no more) than the suspension time?
  13. Hasn’t he stated he’s not retired though?
  14. lol here’s an old interview with August and Scott Casber of USA Takedown Wrestling. He even talks about him coaching at both a California high school and Iowa State’s club team, but didn’t ask him how it was possible to be a head coach in Iowa and California at the same time…
  15. These 2 are definitely are more accomplished in Greco. The interwebs says Morris is from Sacramento, can’t find anything official on Khymba. Looks like he is technically from Roseville/Lincoln, I don’t think Mr Wesley would count that as Sacramento
  16. Also, can anyone name any other Greco Roman wrestlers from Sacramento?
  17. Wait, he’s in TWO halls of fame?
  18. Nice job by the feds. Considering she was first indicted in February, I’m sure the investigation started well before 2025.
  19. Do you think Cael’s basement would still be an option? Taylor bringing him to Stillwater would be pretty ballsy, but I could see it. I feel like he’d be more likely to go to a lesser program though, maybe back to his roots in Maryland?
  20. Yes I mentioned this in my OP. I’m honestly kinda surprised that MAGA folk don’t seem to care about this guy, but I guess they’re consistent about not caring about non-citizens (except for white South Africans for some reason). In reality, this guy is a better example for the left to use but many of them may not care about him either since he was a MAGA guy. Supposedly this guy has never been accused of any crimes other than not filling out one form, and reportedly was even told in 2024 that “nothing is outstanding at this time.”
  21. I mean, I could certainly see Aiello having a decent argument for his own litigation. If Snyder withdraws, then shouldn’t Aiello be considered the winner of the Open?
  22. Well, I guess we’re not discriminating based on race at least https://www.mississippifreepress.org/ice-arrests-mississippi-father-at-his-citizenship-hearing-threatening-deportation/ Here is his last actual x post, his account was mostly just retweeting MAGA commenters. I do think the replies to that post are in poor taste, this guy did think he was here legally, was never accused of any crime, reportedly just missed filling out one form but was continuously meeting with immigration officials
  23. I know this is also being discussed on international board, but I did kinda figure this would happen …
  24. In that statement, the court/judge. Too much pride? What the heck is that supposed to mean? Is that him confirming that the undercover officer was a dude?
  25. Do we think this is a real quote from Kevin Jackson? https://iowastatedaily.com/281891/sports/make-it-happen-anthony-wesleys-journey-to-become-an-olympian-iowa-state-international-wrestling-august-wesley-kevin-jackson-olympics-paris-tokyo-world-stage-championship-born-to-wrestle/ “August also wrestled for a majority of his life and was a collegiate wrestler. August wrestled for Sunkist Kids Wrestling Club, where former Iowa State wrestling head coach Kevin Jackson also wrestled around the same time. The two, August and Jackson, won several national championships while on the same freestyle team. “That built a bond between me and him, and we are trying to accomplish the same things—so our goals are similar. We got to know each other pretty well during that time,” Jackson said.” I like how then it says August and Kevin Jackson lost touch because August “moved on to bigger and better things.” I know in one of the other threads it was mentioned that Anthony did actually register a few international wins. He was on the roster at ISU for 3 years, won a bunch of matches against D2/D3/JC/NAIA guys but only had 2 D1 wins, surprisingly one over former R16 finisher Vince Turk of Iowa. https://www.wrestlestat.com/wrestler/40221/wesley-anthony/profile
