I agree that there is much more competition for our kids attention nowadays. This is why it is so imperative to instill morals in children at a young age. Also a reason why I think parents should keep smart phones and social media away from kids for as long as possible. The increase in technology that we have seen has lead to unprecedented levels of depression and anxiety in the youth. The internet and social media tells us that we need to look, act and think a certain way to have joy. It is a lie from the pit of hell.

I think this is a rational take on things. I am seeing more and more cussing just to cuss, rude talk and poor tone used. Tactful disagreement is becoming a thing of the past and set aside for yelling and hurling insults. I see a lot more cussing from the younger generation than I saw in the past, though I do not necessarily blame them. They are just doing what they have been taught at home. For instance, my 5 year old neighbor girl dropped something on the ground the other day and cussed when she dropped it. She did not cuss because she is inherently a bad kid or anything but rather that was the learned response from her surroundings. The "do as I say not as I do" method of parenting/teaching is bound for failure.

I am hoping to see more consistency out of Carlson this year. He had a brutal course load first semester last season and I think that played a big part in his inconsistent results. Vombaur did look tough in that match against Carlson and has had some other nice wins in his career (Biscoglia, Julian Farber, Jack Wagner). Will be interesting to see what he can do as a full time starter.

It does not seem to matter where I go nowadays (grocery store, park, restaurant, home improvement store, etc.), people use vulgar language excessively. Even the presence of young children seemingly has no impact on these people's vocabulary. Teenage children cuss in the presence of adults and even in school. I have family that teach high school and her students cuss in class and have cussed at the staff frequently. It seems as if the art of tact and the principle of letting our speech be seasoned with grace is being lost on many. Thoughts?

Is McDougal better than Wiley or is Wiley to big for 149? My guy Alek Martin took out Wiley in Frost Arena last year. I am not familiar with McCrary, will keep an eye out for him.

As a SDSU Jackrabbit fan, I am very excited to see Bennett Berge get a full season under his belt. I think he has the skills to make the podium. Other new starters I am excited to watch and I think will AA: Nic Bouzakis, Meyer Shapiro, Mitchell Mesenbrink (if he goes), Dayton Pitzer, Nick Feldman Could AA: Troy Sprately, Kannon Webster, Rylan Rogers, Dylan Fishback, Stephen Little, Ben Keuter (if no Cassiopi), Christian Carrol

Flow actually has Nino @ #30 on there 2017 big board. I thought he was lower since he never won a PA state title but he performed very well nationally.

Schunke is a preferred walk on currently. If he performs well, I’m sure he will get a scholarship but as of now he has no scholarship. Why wrestle instead of play football? Because wrestling is the greatest sport in the world!!!!

@jajensen09 The Huskers signed LJ Araujo from ND last week. He just won the Super 32 title and was awarded outstanding wrestler of the upper weights. He is climbing quickly up the ranks. Great signing for the Huskers. I was hoping my Jackrabbits would sign him.

Kind of strange to me. Per Rivals he is a 4-Star recruit and the #18 interior offensive lineman in the country. I would think there would be a scholarship attached to those accolades....

I heard he was over 300 for football last year. I think around 310 and had to cut down to make 285.
