WA Gov candidate and current WA AG, Bob Ferguson, approved of no police chase in the name of road safety, but which caused an increase in speeding (and traffic deaths due to it), stolen cars ( no chase could be done), and ramming storefronts with said stolen car to destroy the front and steal the goods. There was a story on this every week around here. He approved of no sentencing for fentanyl possession or use. Wow, so now we have the most drug deaths ever because of that. He is against the death penalty but apparently supportive of death by drug overdose. He wants to be governor with that and much more on his watch. I'd say he is an extremist. His D challenger in the primary is a fiscal conservative, social liberal. He initiated a bill to make drugs at least a misdemeanor. Ferguson was nowhere as a co-sponsor or advocate for the bill. It passed. I would say this challegner is moderate compared to extremist Ferguson. mspart

So what she is saying is that the nanny state keeps kids stupid. If they are allowed to be accountable, then they wisen up. That in effect is what she is saying. Bad news for her really. mspart

She has a honeymoon phase right now where all the media is singing her praises, but she is very difficult to work with. And not only that, but remember her winning strategy in her 2020 presidential campaign going from 15% support to 3% support and not making it to the first caucus. And now she is the only one that can save the union? I hate to say this, but she is going to be nothing but a stooge and will be controlled by higher authorities. She will be handled much like Biden is handled. That is my opinion. I say that while acknowledging Trump is not much better of a boss. He lost a lot of folks as well. But he was in charge of his office, not some unseen hand as is the case now with Biden and will be with Harris no doubt. I am no fan of Trump, but I am a fan of his policies that brought prosperity to the country. I am not a fan of the policy malaise that Biden has brought to this country. mspart

No imagination, no thinking for themselves, just groupthink. Let's see, what political movement enforces groupthink?
