  1. I like the variety. It is not a circle. ️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️
  2. FEMA is not insurance. It’s incompetent due to slow, bureaucratic, and sometimes ineffective disaster response.
  3. After a FEMA inspection of their seriously damaged/flooded house, they got this letter. ASSISTANCE APPROVED Your application is approved for a total of $750.00: The U.S. Department of the Treasury will either mail you a check or deposit the funds into your account, based on the preference you selected. Approved - Money to Help Pay for Emergency Needs Your application has been approved for $750.00. This money is meant to help pay for immediate disaster expenses for sheltering, evacuation, and meeting basic household needs. The money may be used for items like food, water, infant formula, breastfeeding equipment, diapers, hygiene products, and other basic needs. The amount of money FEMA can provide is limited. We understand this amount may not cover all the costs of your disaster-caused immediate and serious needs. This money is meant to help you get started with your recovery. You may still choose to appeal FEMA’s decision if the money provided does not address all of your needs. Instructions on how to appeal are included in this letter. However, please understand Federal law limits the amount of money FEMA can provide you to $42,500.00 for Housing Assistance and $42,500.00 for Other Needs Assistance. Rental Assistance and Assistance for Disaster-Caused Accessibility Needs do not count towards these limits. ---------- Their costs were substantially higher and not nearly covered. If they received federal disaster assistance for flood damage, they would be required to purchase and maintain flood insurance on the property for the life of the structure to remain eligible for future federal disaster assistance. This requirement is tied to the property, not the person, so future owners would also need to maintain this insurance. The premium was high and the payout limited. The math did not compute well. They elected to do the work themself and fund repairs out of pocket. FEMA communication was confusing and underwhelming. Their regulations and policies were not good. Their finances for assistance is underwhelming. My in-laws are recovering... their neighbor (widowed) remained home for the storms and ended their life with 30 days... ...From a personal responsibility perspective... its like duh, FAFO with their choice to live in a Florida (Homosassa area) location...
  4. FEMA was bad for my in-laws in Florida.
  5. I asked the question about 'independent' RJK JR because IMO he warranted protection more so than Fauci does now as an independent. Questions about 'public' tenure are changing the context from 'independent' point made.
  6. My acquaintance, the person, should not feel guilt. Should Katrin Himmler feel guilt? Katrin Himmler is the great-niece of Heinrich Himmler, who was the head of the SS during the Nazi era. Katrin was born well after all that Nazi stuff ended. She can't be guilty of crimes unless she was actually involved, and she was not. Legally, guilt does not pass down through the family tree. It's not appropriate anyone born after the events to feel personal guilt for the actions of a previous generation, when they had no part in those actions. Guilt implies culpability for wrongdoing, which does not apply to the people. ------- The ones that should feel guilt are an exception at this point. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_last_surviving_people_suspected_of_participation_in_Nazi_war_crimes
  7. Pay attention. They should keep historical remembrances as a tool for learning, AND the descendants should MOVE ON from the GUILT of ancestor events.
  8. The cartel's profit-driven motivation has more quit in it. This is a different motivation than say Vietnam. The leaders will negotiate. Others will relocate and move under ground. The cartel would reduce by 60%+ in activity.
  9. When RFK JR could not get protection, why would independents like Fauci get it?
  10. Musk's comments resonate with me. When I toured Budapest with an acquaintance from Vienna, we discussed how our education systems handle historical accountability, especially after visiting the "Shoes on the Danube Bank" memorial. He is a fourth generation with collective guilt. Keep the remembrance as a learning tool, but also, move on!
  11. Who was that independent who couldn't get security protection? Both his father and uncle were assassinated... RFK JR
  12. Bills win it all. Chiefs homer here.
  13. Do you know that its okay to disobey unlawful orders?
  14. I agree with cutting the size of the military because we should ethically mind more of our own business, efficiency, and costs. We can strategically realign our global presence and spending while keeping our self and allies secure. Fact. Addressing the ethical misconduct over Covid is unrelated to your subjection that the USA has the "fattest and most bloated military in the world" Fact. The global presence and the size of our military protects our soil. This is largely through deterrence.
  15. What does the "thumbs up" sign mean in the USA compared to the Middle East? positive versus obscene. What gives it a different meaning? culture. Is Musk a Nazi? there is no evidence of it, no. So did Musk give a "Nazi" salute? clearly not!
  16. The ADL hates on Musk all the time. But they know better about the "Nazi salute." And so should you.
  17. Back pay at the taxpayer expense is a bargain compared what they deserve.
  18. Ba-dum-tss Tough crowd? No, bad satire.
  19. My experience of many years working in a large corporate office and having kids attend public school. Got the flu annually without taking the flu vaccine Got the flu annually while taking the flu vaccine My experience working remote from home for the past five years and having kids attend public school. Have not gotten the flu once and have not taken the flu vaccine. Verdict - flu vaccine is a waste of time for younger people.
  20. That is all.
  21. Will you make eye contact?
  22. This is a tax I'm willing to pay. The hell with the people that forced this vaccine. Everyone is pardoned...
  23. It is not on the government to fix their family problems; that's on the alien. If they want to be with their kids, they should take them and leave. We need to kick out the illegals and keep them out. Put real effort into streamlining the legal immigration system. Let's make it work for those who follow the rules, not for those who break them.
  24. Transparency in both the vote and the rational it was cast should be mandatory.
  25. Why does the report leave out what Trump was responding to? That is the well-funded cabal of powerful people that collaborated across industries to influence perceptions, change voting laws, and steer media coverage "in the shadows". When Trump was winning on the first day of the 2020 election, does it mention that both the U.S. Chamber of Commerce (business) and AFL-CIO (labor) issued a joint statement for the public to have patience in vote counting and trust in the electoral process? Does it mention that its currently impossible to certify the presidential elections to be free of fraud? Does it mention that there are still legal challenges unresolved from the 2020 election? When many court cases are dismissed on procedural issues, where the underlying case is serious and everyday real people under oath give witness to observed fraud, how can the public trust the courts? The white house could use a good cleansing.
