There is a court order that has already been shared in this thread, preventing his deportation. The Trump administration also acknowledged in court it was a mistake. Nothing you post will change that.

I believe that was what they were erroneously attributing to Michael. I also want to point out, in case the sarcasm was missed, that there are fans on that forum that are calling out the kind of dumb posts I screenshotted. I was just making a mocking reference to what happens when someone on the Hawkeye board posts something stupid and it turns into "Iowa fans say Penn State will explode tomorrow" or whatever.

And that's fine, I'm not involving myself in your guy's personal dispute. I'm focused on the two individuals referenced here who are currently wallowing in an El Salvadoran prison after having their due process rights violated. I just wanted to clarify it doesn't really matter what either of your opinions are on the court orders, I disagree with court orders all the time; that doesn't mean I get to ignore them.

It very literally does not matter if you (or he) agree with the findings of the legal system. The fact is that the man in question was here, legally, and was in a court process and was taken, illegally, and dumped in an El Salvadoran prison in what the Trump administration admitted in court was a mistake, and now they're doing nothing to fix their own mistake, and some of you guys are just like "tough break, go to prison."

Of what? This kid didn't do anything to Laken Riley. He followed the (extremely complicated and contradictory) laws as well as they can be followed and what conservatives claim they want. And now he's in a horror show of a prison. For...being born in another country?

Never even crossed the border until his asylum hearing. Went where he.was directed, ending up in New York. Snatched up and sent to the same El Salvadoran...."prison" without a hearing. This on top of Trump AGAIN floating the idea of sending American citizens to these same prisons.
