I mean he already prevented the current administration from being able to do anything this term (while not even holding any office) It’s crazy how much power he has. Maybe you’re right. How on earth will they be able to accomplish anything this time around if she’s elected?3 points

Aaaah ok. His master plan was to do 4 years of not hitler policies ……. Lose the election. Win again and then become worse than hitler. got to give it to him then. That patience for the long con is strong.3 points

Not the most important question, but a good question none the less. I had not thought about that, but I would be very interested to see what happens. A father's love for his son. Will it be forgiveness, or tough love?2 points

Come on. Given the track record of both the blue and red teams, it's far more likely that businesses in DC are boarding up in anticipation of potential unrest from the blue team. This election already feels a lot fairer than the last one—at least to me. Increased awareness around election rigging, more transparency, and freedom of speech on X have all helped open people’s eyes and create a more balanced environment.2 points

"Hey, you're Carter Starocci. You can win the nationals with a bad knee or a bad attitude. But you're not going to win with both. And you're stuck with the knee, so you need to figure out how to improve your attitude." https://www.instagram.com/reel/DB94NHzvN9N/ Not being on IG limits my ability to link, but this video is defenitely worth a watch.2 points

If the OP could pull himself away from his TDS sharing sites to study a little history he’d find that historians still rank 1800 as the nastiest election in history. Now, it may be that this year showcased the single worst, least qualified, candidate, ever, in Kamela Harris, but Aaron Burr might have been pretty bad, too. https://www.neatorama.com/2008/01/28/5-nastiest-us-presidential-elections-in-history/2 points

I say the future, at least not to the drastic measures that people are taking about, of America does not hang in the balance of who wins today….but more so on how we the people respond to it and decide to go forward..2 points

When Clinton visited, it was proof that he was taking part. When it's Trump though, there's nothing to see here. Yawn. Just more right wing hypocrisy.2 points

We have lots of video evidence that Biden is. I know of no such video evidence regarding Trump.2 points

Oh you mean like he did the first four years that he was president when he was murdering people? Get out of here with that nonsense.2 points

They don’t have anything on Trump. They’ve moved heaven and earth trying to get him out and had to resort to making up new crimes. To assassination That said, Epstein’s game was collecting evidence for blackmail, and that still remains its greatest value.2 points

It is finally here and the nastiest election cycle in history is over (by no means all the drama and bullshit is over). Predicting a Harris win, by larger margins than expected. If I’m wrong I will humbly eat my crow. I just have faith Americans are not going to elect a (factually, not biased laden) felony criminal, judicated sexual assaulter, who awaits trial for trying to overturn the previous elected government. I believe people say a lot of things in public but will act much differently behind closed doors. Hopefully all the vile hate and division can start to calm down. Takes both sides and ability to put down the ‘what abouts’….but we’ll see. Happy counting!1 point

NBC actually has a great website for the election. It shows that the percentage of voters by different parameters. By age it shows 67 percent of the votes come from 50-year-olds and older voters. For 18 to 49 they are at only 33 percent. I was surprised by those numbers. 65 and older is 39 percent of the vote.1 point

He won't try what he can't get away with, but he's certainly pushing the envelope with violent rhetoric (and repeated talk about imprisoning several of his opponents) and trying to consolidate unprecedented power (e.g give him power over the federal reserve and eliminate civil service protections for federal workers). Hard to imagine him trying to do more than what he's doing right now. As far as last term, he committed dozens of felonies (at a minimum), tried to overturn the 2020 election and incited the January 6 riots. You must have very low standards. That's putting aside his atrocious policies.1 point

What a dumb statement. It is a democracy. A representative democracy. No such thing as a pure democracy and everybody knows that.1 point

I was aware of that post, to be clear. I don't only peruse this BBS. I do thank you for posting for others to see, though. Also, I did edit my initial post. Just a tidbit of 'neat' information.1 point

From his Hawkeye Beacon post: " - My kid is wrestling the weight I think he should be wrestling this weekend. I don't question it, and I never will. It's not my place to. I trust Tom with everything, otherwise my family and I would not even be here. - I think it's where he belongs because none of you can really appreciate how much this kid has been beefing up. Can he get back to 174? Of course, and if that is where he is called to go, he will answer the call, and there will not be a complaint from him or me. - I've raised my son to always trust the process. I cannot tell you how many fools have reached out to ask if Gabe would ever transfer. After a few chose words, and also using sign language they got the picture. - I had a call from a dear friend yesterday calling me to tell me to keep my head up. I said, "why"? Well because Gabe lost his wrestle-off. I literally busted out laughing. Not because there never was one, but because he thought I needed encouragement. This is wrestling and if and when there is a wrestle-off, someone will lose. But my feelings, nor my kid's will be hurt. #itsjustwrestling."1 point

If Trump's name is on the list, he would have been outed. They wouldn't have to release any other names, but Trump's. This has not been done probably and most likely because it does not appear. After all they have lied about him wanting people killed and executed. Even snopes calls that untrue. And snopes hates Trump.1 point

Being on the list of people that visited Epstein island (he hasn't) and being an acquaintance that cut off ties are two separate things to me. If there was any evidence that Trump participated in any pedophilic activity it would be out. They have dug up people that barely knew him 40 years ago to come out with sexual assault allegations. My theory why the list hasn't come out yet is because Bill Gates and other billionaires are on it and have paid a lot of money to keep it from being public.1 point

I was not cornered, I was fine. I did enjoy a excelled Chop Cheese sandwich at Hi-Pointe drive in before the match... Highly recommened. I thought the first overturned takedown on Ruth was the one that should have been. The 2nd I didn't think was cause he only had one arm and Pulliam rolled out of it. I will say I disagreed with the stall call in the last second. Ruth was shooting for a stall call not a takedown and Pulliam stayed in front and circled after that last attempt back to the center. BUT, oh yeah, he should have been called prior to last 5 second restart for a 2nd point without a doubt. The dual meet went exactly the way I thought it would. I expected three competitive matches and all three were. I thought Davis would do well after seeing him in wrestle offs. I was correct. He is going to surprise some people this year and with Noto up at 133. Could be a MAC contender. I thought The Woodcock Vs. Kraisser match was going to be competitive and crazy and I was spot on. It almost could have been a first period tech for Woodcock cause he so close to getting 2nd and 3rd set of nearfalls against Kraisser (I thought he should of got a 2nd set. But the ref had a better angle than I did). But man was that a fun 2:30. I also thought the Pulliam and Ruth match would be close (did not expect OT) and I was correct on that. I thought Kannon Webster, the Braunagels, Scoles and Lucas Byrd looked great. Marcel Lopez is tough and finished 3rd in the MAC and can keep matches close. Byrd looked like he had no rust. Webster looked huge for a 149 and was constant pressure. Scoles looked slick as hell and is going to be a problem for 165 lbs. I thought maybe Nick Nosler might be able to keep the match competitive with Zach. But Zach looked great. I think Illinois has a change at 3-5 AA's and 7 AARP cards. I have to say it was a very good crowd there as well.1 point
