I keep hearing this from a ton of fan bases but it’s just weird to me. Are Cannon or Stiles going to beat Duke or Mitch? No…I mean let’s be real. Dodging Mitch doesn’t do a lot for anyone…you can however hope to Gable Stevenson him and Cannon is your better option there…

They wont need to go through MM and Duke.  Just one of them.

I don't think you made it up.  It is just that there was 100% certainty in your position.  Now, you have backed away from your certainty because he has "something to think about".  One can enter the portal with a "do not contact" designation  when you have already made your deal.  There is no certainty until the deal is done.  And finally, I hope he does go to Michigan.

I think we can probably all agree that nothing in life is guaranteed but death, but maybe that needs to be said. I think we can all agree that money can change anything. Again, probably something not needing mention. That said, as I told you yesterday, the ball is Michigan court right now. If they pony up and match there isn’t even a discussion. This move is 100% financial.

What?  You mean the exact thing I said and you got weirdly defensive about it?!?

Again, I think he picks Michigan.  But as I said from the beginning once this is real and offers are heard, things change.

Weirdly defensive? Some of you guys are oddly sensitive. Me personally, I don’t know how to read emotion in text. So you all are smarter than I am I guess. To be clear, correcting people who are wrong on a forum is not defensive. Also, it would be weird if some random on a forum who doesn’t know me and me them could evoke some emotion.  Whatever the case. If it makes you feel better to say I’m wrong and that I got “weirdly defensive” knock yourself out I guess.

I think Lemley 149 and I think Cam goes to 165.

To both of these, I think Zepeda can definitely beat out Lemley.  I would probably pick him to beat Lemley.

@DazeofGrace, probably: "Sure, I said "Zepeda to Michigan has been a done deal for a long time.  Worst kept secret any place" and "He is and has been going to Michigan for many months...." and "optics my friend...he's going to Michigan" and "I mean...I guess that is fantastic for FRL and ears and clicks.  I can only tell you what I know...book it.  Michigan." even when others said it wasn't a done deal and that the actual money and offers can change things, and sure, now I'm saying that exact same thing and pretending I'm not backtracking at all, and so I was correcting them, even though now I'm actually kind of agreeing with them

I get that. I think the move was out of necessity more than anything…he wouldn’t have made 57 either way. And if they said he struggled to make weight all this year I wouldn’t doubt it for a second…dudes a unit. Elite level strength for 65 as well. Or just stay and beat Stiles out at 65 if Cannon is staying 57 like he says…? I like Paddy…sucks to see him go.

Agreed. But, to be fair, Paddy has been in Ohio and CBUS long enough. Maybe it's time for a change or Paddy knows Cannon is coming up or he can't be Birden...

He could beat Stiles or Birden…although their wrestleoff was incredibly close. But yea he should be a grad transfer now.

Guess we will see…I already see the responses. Sure he went to Michigan but it was never a done deal. All good man. None of you have bothered to try to even know how or why I might be saying what I’m saying. How I could speak with such conviction on the subject. If you did, you’d understand why all these responses are nonsense. You don’t say me speaking about ANY other wrestler and where they are going let alone with conviction. Ever asked yourself why? Probably not. Like I told you, guess we will see. And yeah, take a pause….
