Miller at 157 and James at 165 for some of the HSers entered.

Buckeyes sending most of their team.

Why is Melvin Miller back down to 157lbs?

I thought he was going 165lbs?

He likely is for the regular season. He seems to only cut for tournaments like u20s and College Opens

I might be remembering differently, but I recall @Husker_Du talking about how he had thought Melvin would be 184 and James 165/174 but now his thinking was different?  I hope Miller and James both settle in to either 165 and/or 184 by 2028.  I think both are ridiculous talents and could throw a wrench in to someone's dreams.

I always thought Melvin would get huge, 184/197 range, but he keeps making these lower weights, while James apparently won't see 157 again. I could see Melvin putting on muscle and getting bigger, but as of now, I would say he likely is a 74kg/165 guy

Like the federal government the reactions needed a break and will be shutdown for an undisclosed length of time.

It's weird he would go down from winning super 33 at 165 to cutting down to 157 for Clarion Open. I understand he could run into better opponents at a college open, but Super 32 is the premier high school tournament.  So strange. He and Bo must not cut any weight at all. Anyone know what weight Bo is going at Clarion Open?

He is registered at 70kg for the BF there was a rumor that the reason James did not wrestle at who's 1 is because miller wanted it to have some huge allowance and now I'm thinking that was a load of barnacles.

Good enough to be entered in this Open.  No idea how he's been doing at Spartan.  Hopefully, we'll find out Sunday!
