D3 for LU Posted Thursday at 07:24 PM Posted Thursday at 07:24 PM I would figured on hearing this kid's name in the past PIAA tournament... ... But I must have missed the bus on this one! I'll have to check the brackets. (With a name like that, you would 've thought he was up in the upper weights... NOT 125! ) D3 4 2 1 Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Wrestleknownothing Posted Thursday at 08:27 PM Posted Thursday at 08:27 PM I was going to start a thread on great wrestler names, but this is such an awesome start I think I will just add them here (school and years in NCAA tournament in parentheses). Sneaky Best Wrestler Name: Gordon Roesler (Oklahoma 1956-1958) and Karl Roesler (Illinois 1996-1999) - he was destined for this A Boy Named Sue: Scott Whimpey (Weber State 1971) and Dennis Whimpey (BYU 1975) - I dare you to find out Middle Name? Pin: Mark Faller (Harvard 1970) - no need to look this up, I checked with his parents Last Name? Fall: Paul Pinnt (Colorado Mines 1959) - again, I already checked I Was Born To Be A Folkstyle Wrestler: Donny Rider (Fresno State 1998) - get comfortable on bottom, we are going to be here a while I Always Get My Arm Raised: Nathan Winner (Southern Oregon 1983-1984) - all I do is.... Dude Is Brutal: Joel Savage (Utah 1976) - its right there in the name Me, Myself, and I: Nick Neville (Oklahoma 1985 - 1957) vs. Nick Nevills (PSU 2017-2018) - Am I seein' double? Yep, staring at all these names can make you loopy. 3 1 Drowning in data, but thirsting for knowledge

He looked like a computer geek ... well until stepped on the mat and then the whistle blew ... 1 .

CHROMEBIRD Posted Friday at 04:35 PM Posted Friday at 04:35 PM Is Hoke Hogan still wrestling for WVU? The folkstyle world needs a Hoke Hogan vs. Thunder Beard match. Someone start feeding that kid
Fadzaev2 Posted Friday at 07:00 PM Posted Friday at 07:00 PM How about 1976.....142 pounds ....Brad Smith of Iowa on the bottom half and Brad Smith of Toledo on the top half of the NCAA Championship bracket. Smith of Iowa to the finals and Smith of Toledo loses in the semis 5-5, 0-0 criteria to keep it from being an iconic matchup. Smith/Iowa wins in the finals and Smith of Toledo loses to Steve Barrett, the NCAA Champion the next year, for third and fourth. Fadz. 2 1

bnwtwg Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Matt Lackey literally translates to wrestling servant i am an idiot on the internet
gimpeltf Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago A friend of mine and I run a lot of events and look for names while we're doing it and text each other. The idea came from a tournament about 40 years ago when another friend was announcing and started calling a match between Jeff Clark and Trevor Lewis. He looked again and started over- Yes, ladies and gentlemen- we have Lewis and Clark in an expedition match on mat 3! At NHSCA for a good period of time maybe 10-15 years back there was literally a Bye family. We had to fix our software. We found one weight with a Castro, Batista and Fidel. 1
