Last one especially hits a nerve.  Being from New Jersey & seeing how Clagon performed his senior year into freshman year at Rider was absolutely insane.  To think he was considered a title threat to Zain at one point, and then didn't even qualify for NCAA's in his final year is still mind-boggling to think about.

I was pointing them out to some of my kids, who asked "who are those people"

Tsirtsis journey is still one of the more distinct memories I have of first getting into the sport heavily.  Glad he is doing so well for himself nowadays.

Yep. He was from a fairly small farming town that had a strong wrestling program at the time (Sedro Wooley High School) in Washington State. I forget who he beat on his run to a Fargo FS title, but we all collectively were rooting for him at OSU.
