PSU has Barr at 197 and Welch at 184 (doubt Mirasola could make 184 anyway). Why isn't this kid in the transfer portal? He could be a 4xAA for some other team.

Psu is way too much fun.

You can't assume it's the best training environment just because it's PSU.

Maybe the coaches only focus on their stars? Maybe Barr doesn't like to train with him? It's a successful environment for the starters but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the best for backups.

A lot of guys have stuck around as backups....Facundo, Steen, Evans, Bear Claw, Nevills, Lee, Levine, Ball to name a few...seems like guys like to stick around there. I'm sure Bear Claw is thankful he did.

Does Facundo count as sticking around considering he technically only used 1 year of eligibility before transferring?

He will have been at PSU longer (4 yrs) than he will be at Ok state or any other school.

Is it better to train in that environment for a couple of seasons and soak up as much information and knowledge as possible and then transfer out for his final two years?

The more academically competitive schools limit the number of transfer credits allowed. So you can transfer after one year or as a grad. transfer, but not in between.

No kidding.... Bear Claw was a graduate transfer....those guys all stayed several years when they could have transferred much earlier and started somewhere else.

Kueter by major.

Somehow this guy and Jimmy are just...the same person...

One is just pretending to be a PSU fan and one isn't.

But yeah, you'd have to think very little of Kueter to not take him by major over the 197 who...MAY go 184.

Did @Le duke say it was BS that Grad Students were Wrestling at Iowa?

I don't seem to really see him worrying about Iowa all that much. Or really saying anything that negative.

Prolly.   He’s pretty snide when it comes to his psu blue colored fandom glasses.

ir also doesn’t really matter if it was him directly or the rest of the psu blue colored glasses crowd.  It was said 48483858945 times that Iowa is shyte for doing it.  And grad transfers is not a thing it’s still poaching when Iowa does it.

Question.? Are we sure Barr beats Mirosola?

If so, hard to see him sit. Then again JMHO ,his call.i bet gives another year.injuries . Or another  year to learn a d train.2027 not starting . Be gone probably.
