Iran has two heavyweights that are dominating the world that might have something to say about that

Fingers crossed that we get to test that theory.  If I had to bet, if Gable is healthy and does the whole quad, he wins at least two of the four, probably three, maybe four.

Bouzakis is not good enough to beat Ayala. WTF is everyone's surprise?

I want to believe the guy who just wrecked the backside of B1Gs to take 3rd is good enough to not get exploited against the guy who just took 2nd at B1Gs. Big fan of Bouzakis and that match seems more poor coaching than it was Ayala being that much better.

I was just going to post this and I don't think either of them has ever made it past the blood round this is like the biggest match ever in a weird way..

I don't think Fish's dismantling of him at CKLV is a good indicator of how the next match will go.

Little just ended Trey Munoz's career. Tip of the cap for battling back from what seemed like every injury in the book

Arnold was admitted to the hospital due to mental health concerns earlier this year.  I am more than slightly concerned for him after a R16 exit from him.

It's over. The Braunagels can't hurt me anymore. Seven seasons from each of them with a total of 5 NCAA wins between them after winning every age group from Super 32 to Fargo. Le sigh.

Correct me if I am wrong, but if Lilledahl, Davis, and Kasak win their wrestlebacks tonight, aren’t they guaranteed top 8 and AA status.

Steveson is the most gifted and dominate college wrestler I've ever seen and that includes Cael. Its too easy for him at this level. I think he'd destroy stephen neal if they wrestled in their primes.

Neal was also the best of the world.  And infinitely better at football.

But back to wrestling: Neal was name FILA Outstanding Wrestler in 1999 and recognized as the best wrestler in the world that year.  He ..was also 22 years old, significantly younger than final form Gable who also spent years with WWE.

Uhhh Gable was 21 when we won the Olympics beating two much more accomplished guys than Neal along the way.

Uhhhhh We are talking about Gable today vs. Prime Neal, is the problem with your logic, not 21 year old Gable.  Also, the word "destroyed" was used.

Neal is one of my favorite wrestlers ever.  I wish hed have stayed with wrestling but can't argue with the money and super bowl rings.  He was one of my camp coaches at bruce baumgardner heavyweight camp in high school.  I think gable, pre wwe, would have beat Neal in folkstyle.  But I could be wrong.

You are very possibly correct.  I took issue with "destroyed."

I don't think pre-WWE Gable is destroying Neal, as he didn't demolish everyone he wrestled in those years.
