Pretty sure Keck is looking for his fifth All American finish. KOT too. I’m guessing there are a number of others who are in their fifth postseason.

Expand

I would say they also should not get a 5th season.   Might as well open up all college sports to 5, 6 , 7 or 8 seasons to participate in.

In what way has Gable been disrespectful or demonstrated a reprehensible demeanor? Did he threaten to piss on somebody's grave and I missed it?

Expand

He punked out of Worlds after narrowly winning Olympic Gold. Knew if he went to Worlds and didn't win it would cost him too much money.

Now after failing at pro rassl'n & pro football he comes back to real wrestling.

1. Starocci

2. Mesenbrink

3 - 10 would be the rest of the PSU lineup

11. Lucas Byrd

Expand

Lucas Byrd?

Can I ask why HE is catching strays?

I like Byrd(and...I have no good reason, I said it at the start of the season, I was rooting for him)?

Just a weird guy to start taking shots at.

This is 'she was mine first,' situation or...?

Anybody wrestling a PSU wrestler.

For the team race, I'll root for whoever's wrestlers could improve PSU's standing.

I try rooting for and not against anyone as it's "the better angels of our nature".

Well I couldn't pick 11 PSU guys, so Byrd is the word.

And he will ultimately fail at this thing called life after college wrestling too - bank on it.

Oh, and the correct answer is "Carter Starocci".  A combination of reasons: I don't like the 5x national champ thing, I don't like his abject refusal to say anything nice about any of his competitors, along with his twitter fingers s--t talking, and finally (this has nothing to do with Starocci) Parker Keckeisen represents everything good about the sport and it'd be great to see him finish on top again.

I won’t comment on any individual — but in general — I don’t think any athlete is obligated to compete. If someone wants to take time off to write poetry, it’s their business.

It's funny that him and Ferrari ever entertained the idea of wrestling each other at one point, as they are essentially just 2 sides of the same coin in this regard.

If my employer sucks, I'll leave for more money. If my employer's awesome, I'll stay out of loyalty. Some things are more important than money.

I suspect Starocci's doing it to mess with people. Ferrari genuinely believes he's a golden god.

Like setting up the beginning of your adult life with a financial windfall in return for doing something you have trained your entire life for and in all likelihood will come to an immediate end the fourth weekend of March? Oh the humanity. Clutching my pearls thinking of all the young adults who simply want the ability to pay off their student loans and save for home prices that are completely out of reach for an entire generation entering a workforce that is wholly not hiring recent graduates with no work experience.
