If Spidle wants to do a 2 year program at Michigan for a masters, maybe he can use his redshirt for Ragusin's last year and then plan to start the year after?  WrestleStat shows him using his redshirt during 2021 - which would not have been required for that year anyway.

He is Michigan grown 3xer (lost his last one to a fellow 3xer who lost his first one to him, so he repayed the flavor) - went to high school an hour north of Ann Arbor.

Hwt is pretty terrible next year. Pretty disappointing career, but  I’d take a flyer on him there.  No thanks at 197.

I'm going to PSU if I'm him. You have the...less accomplished Mirasola at HWT, he could slide in and..take the ONE spot that is a question mark(and not that big of a question mark).

Carter McAllister, Preston Spray and Owen Uppinghouse in the portal for Mizzou. Hate to see them go, wish them luck. This 30 roster limit kinda sucks.

Also Anthony Ferrari is in the move again.

Any buzz around Isaac Trumble entering? Also do you feel Nebraska will try to replace 149 and HWT with transfers or go in house like it sounds like at 125 with Kael.

Nebraska does really well recruiting but and doesn't normally go after a lot of transfers. but they just don't have an answer on their roster at HWT or 141/149 rn. they need 1-year stop gaps.

i'm sure they'd love to have Trumble but i think he stays put at NCST. and i really don't know what other quality HWT's are out there.

they also need someone for one year at 141/149 (whichever Hardy doesn't go).

i'm told Lachlan McNeil is interested.

you don't think Nebraska develops

they had 8 AA's and a BR guy and all of them except 125 began their career in lincoln.

If they improve the brick game they could be a contender for the title.

That’s quite a few Rider guys, although mostly Graduates.  Dean, Szuba and Washleski have all been NQ’s.

Will be interesting to see how David Evans from PSU does.  He’s had some good wins in his career, but had zero matches this year.

I was responding to his use of "we," almost as if he were a member of the staff.

Ja has drafted like 67% Nebraska gents the last three fantasy drafts.

He just might be on-staff.

I hadn't thought of McNeil to Nebby but it makes perfect sense. Hardy, Lovett, Green, Taylor and McNeil is a great 65/70kg room

That is great!  I am an NC State booster, I have known members of their staff for decades (before NC State), and I have a student there.  I fly into Raleigh for meets.  I don't think I have ever have spoken of them as "we" or "us," just "NC State" or some variation of "Wolfpack."

Maybe it is a regional thing?

^^^THIS^^^

BUT even the Greatest Mind in Wrestling's Crystal Ball has Nebraska's 7 returning qualifiers to score less points than they achieved this year with only 1 guy placing higher than his 2025 finish. 😜🤣

I'd think Berge would be an easier target. If McEnelly leaves Minnesota, I don't even know what to say about college wrestling anymore.

Yeah, I'd be annoyed.

Let Minnesota have nice things too!

They could have a REALLY good team.

Hopke-HWT
Nelson-197
McEnally-184
Riddle/Whiting-174
Riddle was a kid I thought was underrated and could be a stud. He's probably a top 10 '74 in the Country...IMO.
Brenner/Sparks-165?

McEnelly is not leaving. I’d love to see Riddle be our 165 next year with Millard at 157.

Oh damn...I forgot about Millard. To be honest, I just got bored working backwards, so...I stopped, but yeah, that'd be great. Millard was the guy I thought was JUST a shade behind Sinclair, Hopke and the Mirasola's. Though...Hopke kinda went and looked a bit disappointing the last few times I saw him.

How's he looking? He was so good and so slick, but he looked like he hadn't physically matured yet. He put on some good weight this past year?
