Cannon has placed 7th twice and hasn’t AA’ed since 2022. I don’t see this ending the best as he has been constantly hurt and is 25 years old at this point. I would be shocked if he gives anymore than Tyler Wells did

For whatever reason, Wells only had one Big Ten win last year, including regular season and B1G tournament. That was against Nolan Wertanen, Michigan.  A change of scenery was probably necessary.

If Cannon is mostly healthy, I would expect a little more, even if used on a limited basis.

Every time I see Chris Cannon wrestle I think of the time he told his dad to shut up during a match.  That was great.

My proudest forum moment, making the Stalemates Show (although Zach is correct that technically we don’t know for sure it was his dad). Discussion starts at 13:40 for those that missed it or forget. Hopefully Stalemates gets back to doing videos

I am not sure how to answer this. Richison wanted Coleman Scott as the next HC, and he wanted Maple, and a few others considered. Leonard thought Koll was a slam dunk, so they blew everyone else off. Koll came in and did loved OU, but was not thrilled with the donors. Then Leonard brought Nickerson in, same result. Richison finally say F this, I will take my money to OSU. Richison graduated from UCO, and their facitlies are nicer than any facilties in the state  (better than OU and OSU) I imagine OSU will have better facitlies in a few years with what DT is doing.

Thanks for the insight.  Interesting that Koll would care that much about other donors as long as he had Richison as one.  Although isn’t it fair to say OU may have dodged a bullet with Koll because surely he would have left there for UNC right?

Is this Cannon's 3rd or 4th Big Ten team?

WrestleStat is showing Camden McDanel in the portal.

Well then. That would mean he's been in a while, no, and we're just finding out?

Bloomsburg also getting a boost from Stutzman's lost stop.  Picks up the following from Buffalo and all are slated as starters:
Cael Raines (149)
Braidon Woodward (174)
Coy Raines (184)

Add to that Jace Schafer (149) and Eric Alderfer (165) as incoming transfers and there are five incoming transfers as starters.

A guy on HR claiming Chittum's long Ohio State tenure has ended and he's making his way to Chattanooga.

There was no way he was starting there, so it makes sense.

The guy has more miles on him than an albatross.

Not to stir the pot. But if he's such a turd then why hire him. Was he just the best choice at the time for the decision makers?

they wanted Koll, he turned it down, then they wanted Hahn, he turned it down. Then they were just gonna keep Heflin, told him he had the job "verbally" and he went off to coach U23 or something like that, brought Kish in quietly and offered him the job.

He’s been there less than a month??

That would be called verbal irony, I believe?
