Anyone else think the potentially dangerous call in the SV part of the Plott-Ferrari match was rather quick and perhaps unnecessary.  I would like to see the sequence again, but it appeared to me that Plott was close to the TD and could have worked for it or maybe gotten it with the 3 second exposure rule.

The ref seemed to be calling most everything quick and tight

Nice. When I went I wore Penn State gear and got some friendly needling from Iowa fans. But the absolute best was when a kid around 9 or 10 years old saw me and got a complete look of disgust on his face.

I like that kid

Love love LOVE Iowa crowd booing an injured wrestler.  Class ^ 100.

I was there.  I had no clue he was injured. Once my section realized that he was hurt they all got quiet.

Ferrari doesn't shoot, though.  He just hangs out on his knees and doesn't do jack-diddly. 🤷‍♂️

Did you watch the match?

I belive nhs67 was being sarcastic and making fun of the Iowa hater with that comment.

Big gritty win by Ferrari! Pull his shirt and give him two more shots at starocci and a chance to become a legend in the sport.

Who knows, if the stars align perfectly for Iowa maybe they can compete with Penn State for 1st place.

Ayala, Parco, Teemer, Caliendo, Ferrari and Buchanan could all make the finals.

Lilledahl and Davis could both miss the podium, Kasak is banged up, and Kerk seems to be mia lately.

Iowa should take their shot now. They don't get any closer to winning next year. They lose Parco, teemer and Buchanon.

given all the genuine and heartfelt concerns some of y'all have been posting for Gabe, thought I'd put you at ease.

Thanks for sharing this.   I guess Arnold is back on x after temporarily deleting his account after the PSU dual…

Lol they have no shot to win.   But I kinda think they should pull the shirt if they don’t want to get worse than 2nd again.

They could have a chance to win in 3 or 4 years though I suppose depending on what other recruits they can get to follow Bo.

I thought this when it happened. Seemed too quick and Plott was getting very close with the TD.

What a way for Ferrari to end his season! I would be shocked if they pulled his redshirt. I'm wondering how Arnold's confidence is these last couple weeks.........I could see him crumbling at NCAA's and not AA. Angelo vs Zack Ryder will be a great rivalry these next few years.

Didn’t get the joke.  Apologies then?

I was being a smartass with my 'doesn't score' nonsense.

My apologies as well for my part in the confusion.

Good god.

Gents, I am sorry my sarcasm is difficult to read, since it is in text

Also, sorry Turk.  I was being snarky because 3 pages of this thread were because folks wanted Ferrari to be called for stalling, despite scoring the only offensive points and taking the only shots of the match... regardless of the preference of being on one's knees...

That’s twice I guess.  In comedy they say if you have to tell people the punch line.  It just wasn’t funny.

I could have just not said anything and correctly assumed you gents didn't read the rest of the thread... i.e. been a complete twat about it, but I chose not to be a dick about it.

Win some.  Lose some.

I got it in the moment. So one verified for, two verified against.

If Starocci is “the highest paid wrestler…by a lot” wouldn’t Iowa/PSU probably be higher?

Bo Nickal is just trying to be relevant.   No one's cares what he has to say, but he is looking for attention.

Ferrari will be top 3 this year if he wrestles.  He should start.  Injuries are such a fickle part of the sport, he's the closest match that Starocci has had in years, just proved his level in that match with Plott.

Don't love the act but you can't deny the ability.

Starocci won 3-1.  Carter had four two point matches last year.

That is the call that I thought was bs.

The scramble had been going on for about 40 seconds with nobody ever close to actually scoring.  Man, you guys hate Iowa that much you want to root for the guy who, as a senior returning finalist, had no legitimate offensive opportunities against a true frosh, who had multiple deep shots and opportunities to score.
