Expand Assuming Teemer wrestles B1G's, I would imagine that means he's healthy enough to steal a spot (otherwise he'd default out). I assume he'd still a spot from Harer (depending on how brackets fall). Then Harer would have to hope for WC, which I would assume he'd get but you never know. Not sure if there's anything to comment on, just wanted to chime in somehow.

It seems like the match minimum barring highly ranked wrestlers from earning an allocation only punishes the fringe qualifiers. Am I missing something?

Expand Rankings are subject even though they claim not to be. And choosing one would be problematic. They often differ in important ways. And taking an average of many has problems too. How do you deal with a situation where one ranking has a wrestler included and another does not, like we saw with Teemer at various points? The nice things about the rules based method is it becomes clear what a wrestler needs to do to qualify or earn an allocation.
